I found the ad on Facebook with a statement about the product being an effective weight loss product.  When you click on the website, a fake blog appears with several testimonials from so called "happy customers" although you are unable to comment, like a real blog. They use misleading endorsements from NBC, National Geographic, Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Oz, the list goes and on and I've seen different ad's since then with the same gimmick.

It offers a risk-free 14 day trial and you click to pay just a $5.95 shipping charge.  The terms and conditions state you will be charged $79.95 after the 14 day trial period unless you cancel within that time frame but of course I didn't read the fine print until after I realized it was a scam. The product was not delivered to my home address rather, a note from the post office was left in my mail box to pick it up.  The size of the product would have fit in my mail box so I believe this is part of their scam.

When I became suspicious, I contacted the customer service department and they said to simply return the product and they would refund my money.  I went to the post office to find a package which was shipped from China with no return address so I refused the delivery and the post office was directed to send it back where it came from.

Upon contacting customer service again, via phone and e-mail, I was asked for a proof of return or shipping label which didn't exist.  I received e-mails from several different people, all using what appeared to be personal e-mail addresses.  I've been unable to recover any of the cost but did cancel my debit card so they were unable to falsely charge me a second time.
