Maximum Weightloss with Acai - "Risk free" 30 day "free" trial a scam Hollywood, Florida

What appeared to be an objective news report on the Acai Berry on the Fox News page on the Internet described the supposed reporter's positive results with trying it herself.  A link to the free trial led to a page filled with testimonials and the offer of a full 30 day trial for only the cost of shipping and handling which was also reduced price.

I filled out the application with credit card information to charge me simply for the one-time shipping and handling cost for the Acai Berry and Life Cleanse products.
Later someone called from the company to verify that I had authorized them to charge my credit card as indicated and I said yes.  I believe this was recorded.

A month later a new supply of two bottles arrived that I had not requested.  I found my credit card had been charged over $160. for my "free" samples and another $160. for the new bottles.  When I called the company they explained I should have looked at the fine print in "terms and conditions".  There it stated that if they did not hear from me by 19 days after the trial began to cancel it, that they assumed I did want it and charges were made to my credit card company.  No one ever mentioned any ongoing monthly shipments, not once. 

The refund information is threatening to sue the consumer who tries to stop the charges on their credit card and insists they will NOT accept rejected boxes unless there is a special RMA permission number on it, and then only at customer's expense.
