This Company contacts you stating they have a 'vacancy' available as a mystery shopper. They send you assignments and you get paid $200 per assignment for a couple of hours work. The 'catch' is... they send you a 'check' (via usps express mail!) in advance for the 'first assignment' (mine was for over $3,800.00!) which you're supposed to take immediately to your Bank to cash... keep 10 percent as your payment and then go to the closest Western Union office (which is by the way your first mystery shopper assignment) and wire the money to 'this' person... (Thamar David - 221 heathrow drive - riverdale, GA 30274). Well, you guys know the program... the check is issued from a REAL Company.. they 'find' legitimate local companies that are usually in your state.. I guess they figure most people will 'check' to see if the check is issued from a 'real' company.. (mine was Aalborg Industries, Inc)... but it's a bad check because Aalborg more than likely knows nothing about it! I didn't fall for this scam but HUNDREDS (even thousands) do yearly. If your Bank cashes this check and you wire that money, once that BAD check gets returned to your Bank your account will be CLOSED and you will OWE that money to your Bank! They don't care that you were SCAMMED! You are responsible for every Check that you accept.... good OR bad. It's on you. Don't fall for this one.. this Group is particularly a bunch of rank amateurs.. but nevertheless, be on your guard for this one.
