It is surprising to me that these scammers can stay in business after the Better Business Bureau and newspapers have put out statements about them.

This guy sells a useless pamphlet for 30 dollars and continues to stay in business.
Here is a link to an article in the St Louis Business Journal about him:

(((link redacted)))

If you googled "American Publications" or "Dean Spasser", you would get enough info to know better than to send any money to this jerk.  He doesn't answer his 1-800 number unless you are plenty angry and want a refund.

He could be put out of business by people complaining to the BBB and the magazines he advertises in.   It's just disgusting to scam money out of people who really need it when there is no legitimate money making opportunity.

"Advantage Publications" instead of "American Publications" now

AUTHOR: Laura - Greenwich (United States of America)

American Publications, work from home scam, has started using the name Advantage Publications.  If you google one or the other, they both direct you to the same web site.

It looks like they are trying to hide their reputation. They seem to have put out lots of planted "articles" to push down their bad press that was coming up when you google American Publications or Dean Murray or Dean Spasser.

This Dean Murray or Dean Spasser has so many links to fawning articles about himself that it becomes obvious that Dean Murray or Dean Spasser is writing them or having them written for him to hide real feedback about American Publications, Advantage Publications, whatever.

The best way to check out this work-from-home scam is to look up American Publications, Advantage Publications, Dean Murray, or Dean Spasser on the Better Business Bureau website.  They have the real story there about Advantage or American Publications and Dean Murray or Dean Spasser.  They tell you what envelope stuffing scams are and how they work.  Envelope stuffing is an scam that has been around for a long time.  If you are interested in being involved in a scam, you could just study it and do it yourself instead of being the victim.
