Ordered my mother a xmas tree in November - have been getting erroneous charges on my card ever since.
I called to ask for refund on 3 recent charges and was told I bought into "a collection."
I did not buy into this "collection scheme" and I was CHARGED for the item and PAID in full at time of purchase in November
December - I was charged again (shipment time) only now it was even more than original price already collected in November.
End of December another smaller charge?
January 2 more smaller charges?
They again claimed that additional items were sent and it was a "collection" - I reiterated that NO additional items sent and I did not buy into a "collection"
I went online and looked at the item to confirm - it is NOT part of a "collection". I asked to go over each charge and exactly what it was for - then was told again it was collection items she received!
Again she received ONE item - the tree full and complete.
They again tried to say she was being sent items as part of a "collection" and they have already shipped so they can't refund me for those items.
again no additional items requested,ordered,agreed to nor sent and no the item purchased and received NOT PART OF A COLLECTION even on your website.
Rep then said oh it's because you financed the tree - again total lie - erroneous charges.
After going back and forth and the rep not being able to actually verify each charge other than saying it was for the tree or then it was for items for the tree that were sent separately in the collection or then again he went back to it's for financing the tree. i stopped him and said I'm getting my money back, she did not receive any additional items nor was this part of a collection -I was placed on hold then told they would cancel any further charges. I said again yes you will but I also expect a refund for the past several charges - he went back into his claim that she received items or it was for financing. I said let's go over each and every charge and was placed on hold then disconnected
this explains why I never received a confirmation email, never got a shipping update shipping confirmation etc etc.
Looked online and can see how this company bates people into an endless charging trap that they are neither forthright about nor is it clear when people do decide to "buy into a collection" -it doesn't have an end date, won't confirm shipping dates and they basically say it's because of the artists
