I’ve been a loyal @Tesla owner for years, but after my recent experience, I’m left feeling betrayed, exploited, and furious.   On December 22, 2024, I traded in a 2019 Model 3 Performance and purchased a brand-new Model S Plaid from Tesla  Trade Place in San Diego. I explicitly confirmed with Tesla staff that the FSD (Full Self-Driving) package—worth $10k when purchased—would transfer from the Model 3 to the Model S.   At delivery, Alex (Tesla sales) looked me in the eye and reassured me: “The FSD transferred from the Model 3 to the Model S.”   But Tesla didn’t just break their promise—they took it a step further. Hours later, I discovered the FSD didn’t transfer from the traded Model 3. Instead, Tesla stole the FSD from my 2021 Model Y—without my knowledge or consent. The Model Y is now stripped of the $10k feature it was purchased with, leaving me with a downgraded car I still own.   And that’s not all:   Every time I call Tesla, they blow me off.   When I demanded to speak to Christy, the staff member who confirmed the FSD transfer, they said she was onsite but couldn’t be found. Ever since, she’s been conveniently “unavailable.”   I'm now paying $99/month for an FSD subscription on the Model Y—just to restore the functionality that Tesla ripped away from me.   This isn’t just a mistake—it feels like deception.     @elonmusk , is this the customer experience Tesla stands for? Breaking promises, removing premium features without consent, and then dodging accountability?   I demand Tesla do the right thing:   Restore FSD to the Model Y immediately.   Transfer the FSD from the traded Model 3 to the new Model S as agreed.   Reimburse us for the unnecessary $99/month FSD subscription.   Tesla’s mission is built on trust and innovation, but this feels like outright exploitation. @elonmusk , please step in and help make this right.   #Tesla #FSD #CustomerExperience #Betrayal #Accountability #ElonMusk #EV Elon Musk Tesla Model 3 Model S Model Y Model X Space X Twitter X

Issue handled, but need to wait 3 months to verify

Gill from Tesla in San Diego led the way to solve this with numerous emails and messages to various groups. I can't see the issue details in my app, however, Tesla confirmed they have corrected the issues and applied the FSD to the proper vehicles.

I will need to wait 3-4 months to see how this turns out.
