Jeffery Chase, owner of 21 Villas took payment via credit card, in July 2013 over 3 separate transactions, for the total of $7250.00. This payment was for the rental of a house in Palm Dessert for the period of 4 days. (the bond was also included in this total, even though the house was not going to be rented for another 6 months. This was apparently company policy) One day before we were to get the house, Jeffery emailed saying there was "operational issues" with the house and he would have to find us a suitable replacement instead. When we spoke he told us a water main had burst and flooded the house. He did not get a replacement house and there was no water leak. We went to the house in question and spoke to the owner who was living there and laughed when we said we were meant to rent the house. He had dealt with Jeffery a year earlier but had not agreed to rent the house out at the said weekend. 

After contacting Jeffery and 21 villas dozens of times for a refund, I recieved an unbelievable email threatening legal action if I did not stop hassling him for my refund. He is now uncontactable and has stolen my money. I have filed a police report and requested charges be laid. 

Stay away from this scam artist. We are not the first and will not be the last. 21 Villas and Jeffery Chase are fraudsters and will hopefully face the full force of the law once the case is fully investigated.
