Stay away from this company.

Fortunately I have experience in this area, but unfortunately my relative was ripp off of thousands of dollars.

American Website Solutions approached my relative through a telemarketing call with the promise of getting rich from selling drugs online. They promised, that for a 'reasonable' fee that they would set up a website that would sell online drugs. They say that they would set up your 'online drug store' and maintain it. All that my relative had to do was market the site to get visitors. All this for a 'modest' price! (around $500 I think).

After you buy the website, pick out your own domain name, and get it running you realize that your not making sales. When you call American Website Solutions and ask about the lack of sales they immediately transfer you to another company...Summer Ventures. Summer Ventures is the marketing company for American Website Solutions. Summer Vetures and American Website Solutions are interwoven. Two different names, but the same people.

When you call about lack of website revenue you'll be made to believe that it's your fault. They will ask you how you're marketing the site and what YOU'RE doing to bring traffic to your online drugstore. Then they will try to sell you a 'Marketing' package.

This 'package' includes banner ads, keywords, and SEO. At this point (and thousands of dollars later) you think you're golden. You are led to believe that you're going to get a ton of traffic and the money will be POURING in like water.

WRONG - Here's the rip-off:

You just bought a 5-6 page affiliate website. An affiliate website is a website in which you sell other people products with you making money from each sale. You can find products like this to sell all over the internet.

The website you just bought is just like hundreds of other websites out there. Everyone else who bought into this scam has the same exact site as you. It's the same site on the same server in the same building. Your site is no different than these other peoples.

The website is a joke for what they are selling. The content of the site is stale. Plus, seeing as how there are hundreds of other sites just like yours, Google will penalize you for having 'duplicate content.' Google looks for original content on the web - you don't have original content. You also sit on the same server as all you're competitors (after all, you are selling the same drugs). Google knows this and will penalize you because google thinks your trying manipulate rankings.

Search engines also don't like affiliate websites. They typically penalize you because they feel you aren't adding anything original to the web. They are right. Plus there is so much spam and scam for online drugs (you're lumped into the category as the spam email you get about viagra) the search engines will typically not index your site.

Selling online drugs is a competitive arena. Companies spend millions and have been around for over a decade in order to sell. Do you really think you have a chance ranking in Google for 'online discount drugs?' You're a new kid on the block and your website probably doesn't even rank for the term.

Keywords? They charge per keyword. You cannot optimize a web page for 10 keywords.

Meta Tags? No modern search engine looks at the meta-tag keyword tag anymore. Search engines look at the title of your site and the meta-description....sometimes.

You're doomed from the start with American Website Solutions.
