Angela Daugherty - Raylene M Foster AllenHills Borough Services mystery shopper scam Altamonte Springs, Florida

I was looking through Careerbuilder for potential employment and found Allen Hillsborough Services.  The advertisment stated that this was a customer service position with flexible hours.  The pay rate was $13-$16 per hours with commission.

I received a cashier check fby Fedex from an Angela Daugherty of Altamonte Springs,FL.  I was The check was written off of a Suntrust bank.  I called 1-800-786-8787 to verify funds and the check ,which appeared to be good. 

I was told that it was my first Mystery Shopper assignment.  I was to verify funds,deposit or cash check, and within 24 to 48 hours. Send a moneygram to the following address:162 Maitland Avenue,Altamonte Springs,FL 32701. 

I was then to resend my response by email with moneygram reference number and my wire transfer information. 

I called my local branch today and I was notified this fraud check. I told the fraud department that I suggested that the bank clerk verify funds as well before the deposit took place,but they refused to do this.  I was told how would they know.  Are they not the professionals of the institution? I felt they didn't carryout their responsibility and now the customer is paying the consequences.
