Applegate Securities Inc. sent me an awards letter and a check for $4995.00 Montreal Ontario

I received a letter informing me that I was the winner of a Shoppers Sweepstakes held Dec. 5th. That the company had made several attempts to contact me but was unsuccessful. Enclosed was a check for the sum of $4995.00. The check is from a bank called Camden National Bank out of Camden, ME. But $2995.00 was to be returned to them to pay for taxes for the mount of the prize won.

Before I could cash this check I was to call Bob, when I did try to call the message said the box was to full to receive new messages. I then became suspicious and looked it up and found it to be a known scheme. I did not cash the check nor have any intentions of cashing it.
