Applegate Securities Inc. Totally fake...checks are bad. Very BIG ripoff!!! Montreal Ontario

I received a winning final notification letter in the mail from Applegate Securities Inc. They stated I was a winner of the Shoppers Sweepstakes held on Dec. 5th, 2008.

It also stated they had made many unsuccessful attempts to contact me. Therefore I was entitled to $250.000.00 from a total prize money of $5 million. They claimed it was shared and presented among 20 other winners.
They enclosed a check for $4995.00 but in the letter it states the check is for $4950.00.

The tax amount for this check was $2995.00 which they said do not attempt to use this check until you call and speak to a claim agent for further clarification.
