Certegy Payment Recovery Services ripoff Fraud attempting to collect a debt not owed Saint Petersburg Florida

I purchase an oven from Sears paid them with a check. The check was cashed with a draft or some type of copy. I never received the original copy in my monthly statement.

However, the check cleared my bank. I started getting a bill from Certegy Payment Recovery Services, Inc. stating I owed them $25.00 for a returned check. I spoke with Sears Consumers services about the check. They apologized for the error.

This occured in 2002. Two years later I started getting letters from Certegy with this same claim.
