If you signed a contract and took out a loan to purchase the jet ski then you are in default and turning the jet ski over to the vendor is a voluntary reposession.
This is how all contracts and loans with collateral work. There is no such thing as 'oops, I changed my mind 12 days later so I am returning the jet ski' clause. There isn't anything special going on with this contract. If you actually have a voluntary repo, the lender can come after you for the balance of the loan after they sell the collateral for pennies on the dollar and apply that small amount to your outstanding loan balance. If you don't pay it, they can get a judgement against you for the remaining balance that continues to accrue interest. That judgement can last 20 years in most jurisdictions. Do your research so you know how it works in your specific geographical location.
Now, if you are saying you never signed a contract, how did the vendor get your signature? How did you get a loan? Something isn't adding up here. I'm not affliated with either the vendor nor the lender, but this is how contracts with financing work all over the US.

Dealers do not allow people to take Jet Skis out of their dealership with nothing being signed. So perhaps you can explain how you got yourself into a position to return the Jet Ski, when you decided you no longer wanted it.
As right now this sounds like nothing more than a case of buyer's remorse.
