I recently bought an upright FRIGIDAIRE freezer for storage of a rather large quantity of processed beef, approximately $2,000.00 worth.

I brought the beef and freezer to my office, plugged in the freezer and put the beef in it. Thee "power indicator" light on the freezer lit up while it made the usual whirling sound. I left for the weekend.

All of the following week whenever I was in the shop, I would glance at the "power indicator" light just as a precaution. A week and a half later, we showed up to work and discovered the worst smell you could imagine. The beef went bad as the freezer was not cold.

Upon inspection from the merchant and the Authorized Frigidaire Repairman, it was evident that the freezer was bad right out of the box. It was sold to me with a bad compressor. I filed a claim with Frigidaire complete with all receipts. They decided to reimburse us for the cost of the freezer, no delivery or tax reimbursement. Further, Frigidaire decided to pay us $250.00 for the spoiled product. After another b***h letter, they wrote me back and basically said that, "hey, you should feel lucky, we normally just pay $100.00 for these claims." (I'm paraphrasing.)

Soooo........what is the moral of this story,

My FRIGIDAIRE product was faulty right out of the box, and, it cost me $1,750 to gamble in buying their product!!!!

I don't know about you, but when I purchase this sort of merchandise, I expect it to work. I entrusted them with my murchandise. Please pass this along to as many people as you can. I am personally boycotting all Frigidaire products. If you feel that this type of customer care is wrong, help me send a message to Frigidaire and boycott their products as well.

big frigdaire rip off

Frigidiare has their repair service coming to my home every other month to fix the handle on the oven of my stove. I bought the stove new from Lowe's. Its not cheap. It was around $500. I want a new stove.

The company refuses to replace the stove. They say they can not do that because the handle can be repaired. I know that it can be repaired but it will just fall off again and they will be back again next month.

I am tired of this happened and the company will not replace the stove like I asked. I can not believe that their service is so poor and they refuse to make it good. They even gave me a free extended 6 month warranty but what good is that? When that runs out and the handle breaks and/or comes off again, then I am going to be stuck with the repair bills.

It is also a major inconvience because we can not use the oven, which we really need. The company told us not to use the oven but one time it was 2 weeks before someone came out to repair it. Please do not buy from Frigidiare. Their service stinks and they will not help you. They will leave you out in the cold.
