On March 8, 2010, I ordered from this company accruing $118.58 total bill. On March 9, the charge was made to my credit card. This was a Yahoo Accredited business; therefore, I did not think to make the usual investigation of the merchant. I also, like the others, recv'd an email stating my products were being shipped via Priority Mail and was given a tracking number that "notified my post office of shipment...". Well, of course Gia and I had the same conversations as the rest of the complaintants, and my phone calls have gone unanswered. I was promised to get the products, and still none recv'd. I was emailed today (3/26/10) that if my shipment hadn't already went out (I have no Legitimate tracking number), I will be refunded my monies. Hmm, that is not going to happen as I can tell from the other complaints.

I have since been investigating this company with all my might, and have hundreds of documents to forward to:

Lisa Madigan, State of Illinois Attorney General -- you can file via the computer, but also mail complaint (download from computer) with evidentiary documents (www.IllinoisAttorneyGeneral.gov)

State of Illinois Division of Professional Regulation -- they oversee licensed beauty suppliers and cosmetologists (her website states she is licensed). I filed a complaint via the computer as well (www.idfpr.com). Note that she is located in Cook County, Illinois for the complaint.

IC3 FBI Internet Complaint Center -- this FBI website interacts with all levels of government enforcement agencies at local, state, and federal levels to work at prosecuting fraudulent or scandalous business practices. I am getting ready to forward my file to them. You can file complaint via the computers at: http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx

I am also going to file something with Yahoo's Merchant department to have them remove Extended Lengths Beauty from the approved merchant stores. I also detailed my complaint when rating this merchant, and emailed back to Yahoo.

I suggest that all attempts of calling the business be documented, make copies of all correspondence, create a file, write a detailed account of your complaint, and retain a generic letter with details to forward all agencies where complaint is going. If you contact all the aforementioned agencies, Extended Lengths Beauty will feel the pains of our scandalous transactions with this Gia or these people behind the name of Gia! I suspect this perhaps is a ring of con artists..."she" has an answering service with the voice of a man, which leads me to believe there is a great possibility that this company may potentially be the focus of the FBI as a criminal organization. Just a little effort to create a file will make our jobs easier to just send copies of what we have to everyone to shut this place down and/or get our monies refunded.

I am glad to see that you have been paid back but she still owes me $200.00 from a return and she is still a crook pure and simple!  I plan to follow your advice and see what remedies their are with the legal system.  She never had any good faith and her only intent is to screw the customer.  What is really strange I could have been a customer for a long time but for a lousy $200.00 she lost a customer and stole my money!  i think given what you had to go through your reply was unwarrented!  Sorry but if the only way people act is when they are threatened then they have no moral compass and their only interest is bad business!

I am thrilled that Gia has sent my products to me -- correct and in full. I think her intentions are in the right place, but may simply be having some issues right now -- as many of us are. I am thrilled that I did not have to file with the Attorney General or the IC3 Computer Complaint Database. I am reporting that she has done the right thing by me, and also sent her an email that keeping the doors of communication open and being honest will always make an impatient person calm down, and allow the problem(s) to be resolved. I have a good enough heart to realize that not everyone has a perfect life or situation all the time, and would love to continue to do business with her if she can just tweak a few things here and there.

I feel it is as important to purvey good, positive energy as negative -- if not even better to focus on the good things. I wish her well, and appreciate that she has successfully done the right thing by me -- the consumer.

Gia, I wish you the best. I hope we can continue to do business together. I hope that you can supply a happy rebuttal to ALL of these complaints, and hope I didn't receive my products because I constantly stayed on top of the situation, but rather, because you are choosing to do the right thing. No business person shall ever be successful unless we keep in mind to do others as you would expect done unto you.

Heres to you Gia! You fixed my issues, put a smile on my face, and instilled a little hope back into your business! I wish you many HAPPY and SATISFIED customers from hear on out! Congrats...if you can turn my attitude around, you can do this with anybody!
