On Dec.23,2002, OfficeMax @ 2790 El Camino Real, Santa Clara,Ca. had on sale an I/O Magic 24x10x40 External USB CD-RW for $59.99,after a $30 instant rebate and a $30 mail-in rebate.

All items required for the mail-in rebate were sent to Rebate Fulfillment Center, P.O. Box 25242, Santa Ana,Ca.92799-5242.

Queries to I/O Magic rebate center said they never received the rebate request. I filled out one of their other on-line forms. Another month and nothing. I finally called and was told to fax copies of my rebate request to I/O Magic. Nothing.

OfficeMax said it wasn't their problem.

I/O Magic does not have a web address for general information or complaints.
