Okay this is kind of hard to explain so I will do my best. I was a contractor that took orders placed by individuals needing their lawn mowed on lawnmowingonline. I took a certain order that ruined everything good about the service. How it works is contractors get paid 3 days after each order is confirmed complete. If there is an issue with the order the contractor must resolve the issue with the customer before pay is released.

Anyway I took an order and shortly after I recieved a message from the customer saying that he had been trying to cancel the order because the last contractor never showed or something. I explained to him to contact the support and he said he had been. So i contacted support for him and I get a reply saying I must resolve the issue with the customer before any pay is released and I was owed $350.00. So I pleaded with the customer and he stood firm on his cancellation, and if a customer wants to cancel there is no convincing him.

So e mail after e mail to support or James Houston I tried to explain that it was not my fault the customer wanted to cancel. He kept saying resolve the issue with the customer, try harder or some other try hard lecture. I truly feel I have been ripped off for $350.00 and it is not cool. I finally gave up and joined lawnlove.com. Since then lawnmowingonline changed the whole platform of the website.

I am not alone in this neither, there are numerous people out there who had similiar results. Please help any way you can. I feel as if lawnmowingonline.com should be shut down.

Since I posted my report in 2016 lawnmowingonline.com has went under new ownership. I have talked to the new owner about my previous experience and he felt the right thing to do is make things right. The company has improved tremendously since new ownership.

The customer can cancel with no trouble. I definitely take back my original post and recommend this service to anyone needing lawn care or landscaping services. Please disregard my original post and consider this post my original.

Thank you to everyone at lawnmowingonline.com for considering contractors issues as well as you would consumers. This is how a company should be. Thank you again.

This company has since changed ownership and has been nothing but kind to me. They made things right even when they didn't have to and I appreciate that more than my words can express. If there was a way to remove this post I would but ripoff report is a stupid website anyway.
