5/58/2008, MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH MTC FOR 6 WEEKS, TRYING TO GET INTO THE SCHOOL AND OBTAIN FINANCING WITH MTC, WE GOT THE SAME OLD SONG AND DANCE THAT SOUNDS WONDERFUL, THAT THEY APPARENTLY GIVE TO ALL THE POTENTIAL STUDENTS, THE MORE I ASKED QUESTIONS, THE MORE THINGS SOUNDED WRONG, THE RIGHT HAND AND THE LEFT HAND, DO NOT SEEM TO BE ABLE TO KEEP TRACK OF THE DOCUMENTS I SUBMITTED, AND AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED, MY PERSONEL INFO IS NOW SCATTERED ALL OVER MISSOURI.

THEY WANT US TO SIGN UP FOR 12,000 FOR SCHOOL, BEFORE I SIGN ANYTHING, I CHECK IT OUT, ACCORDING TO THIS WEBSITE AND MANY OTHERS THEY ARE TOTAL RIPOFFS, LIARS AND ARE PREDATORS SEEKING OUT INNOCENT VICTIMS.

THE LAST STRAW, WAS WHEN AFTER 6 WEEKS THEY TOLD ME THEY WANTED A CO-SIGNER, I COULD PAY CASH, BUT GOT SUSPICIOUS, AND I SEE THEY TELL EVERYONE THEY WANT A CO-SIGNER, SO THEY HAVE PLENTY OF PEOPLE TO SUE.

I CANNOT IMAGINE, WHY AFTER ALL THESE COMPLAINTS AND ALL THE STORIES FOLLOW A PATTERN, THE MISSOURI ATTORNEY GENERAL, HAS ALLOWED THEM TO STAY IN BUSINESS.

A CLASS ACTION SUIT IS NEEDED BADLY, THIS IS FRAUD, OUT AND OUT FRAUD. I EVEN READ ON A FEW DIFFERENT WEB SITES, SOME OF THE TRAINERS THEY SEND YOU OUT OVER THE ROAD WITH, CAN IF THEY FEEL LIKE IT, JUST ABANDON YOU, AT ANY TRUCK STOP, TOSS OUT YOUR CLOTHES AND LEAVE YOU STANDED, THIS IS REALLY SCARY, ESPECIALLY IF YOU AE 1800 MILES FROM HOME AND DO NOT HAVE MONEY, ANOTHER MAN, SAID, THEY CUSSED HIM AND EVEN HIT HIM, CALLED HIM STUPID, AND BECAUSE HE DIDNT SHIFT GEARS PROPERLY, SENT HIM HOME ON DAY THREE, TOLD HIM HE WAS FIRED, HOW CAN YOU FIRE A STUDENT, THEY ALSO, CHARGED HIM $6,000.

THIS CLLECTION AGENCY THAT THEY SICK ON PEOPLE MUST BE A DUSEY ALSO, AND IM SURE NOT ABIDING BY THE FAIR DEBT AND COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT. MTC'S CONTRACT SEEMS TO BE ONE SIDED FOR THEIR BENEFIT, I THINK, IF SOMEONE DOES NOT COMPLETE TRAINING, THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE A REFUND CLAUSE ETC.

WELL THIS WEBSITE SAVED MY BUTT AND MY MONEY, REAL TRUCKERS , I HAVE FOUND OUT SAY GO TO A LOCAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE THAT HAS A TRUCK SCHOOL, 1/3 THE PRICE AND REAL TRAINING.

WHEN I THINK OF THE SLUM DORMS THEY PROVIDE AND THE s***k FOOD, I GET ILL, IF I WAS SUED, I WLD GO TO LEGAL AIDE OR SOMETHING AND MAKE SURE EVERYONE OF YOU CONTACT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL IN MISSOURI AND THE STATE YOU LIVE IN, THEY ALSO, HAVE A FEDERAL DEPT, TO FILE COMPLAINTS AGAINST COLLECTION AGENCIES, JUST LOOK UP THE FAIR DEBT AND COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT. GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad i checked this website

One thing MTC has going for them is that people from out of state cannot tour the place BEFORE going so don't see the living conditions there, or know that the food they give you is downright unhealthy. Yes some trainers will leave you on the side of the road, but that is a very small percentage that actually does that. Most companies make sure you get dropped at a terminal or "safe haven" if a trainer is going to do that to you--but like I said--that is a very small percentage of people that that really happens to. All companies--the worst & the best of them, have good and bad trainers. Before you go out with one, always ask ahead of time as to what happens if there is a personality conflict, or anything that may go wrong when you get on that truck with them.

CYA even as a student. Ask AHEAD of time, not after you're out there and things start going wrong. Trucking is a very hard life, with many days out on the road, lack of sleep even being totally legal on the logs, unsafe neighborhoods where deliveries or pickups are, bad days of tires blowing out, trailer after trailer of tandems that don't slide, loads that are too heavy when you get them, bad directions, nasty dispatchers, missing important events at home, and the list goes on. The positive side is that trucking is a great job but you also don't make the big bucks that they all claim to make. There are good dispatchers, great trainers, but you just have to grin and bear it. It's hard when you start out. Very hard. It's a major adjustment to your life.

But as far as MTC goes? Yes they will rip you off fast. Get everything and anything in writing. Ask what their food/meal items are that they provide. Ask about living conditions and ask for them to provide photos. That was my biggest mistake. They promise you things that don't even happen. They also treat you like you are a criminal while you are there, and not a paying customer. Anyone going there is selling their soul to the devil.
