National Financial Services Personal Loan Scam, security payment, Paul Stone scam. thank you Rip-off Report website for saving me from sending my money to a scam New York New York

National Financial Services is a company I found while searching for a personal loan on the internet. I have searched on this website and while I have not found this same company listed, the people running this scam do not always use aliases. Mr. Paul Stone is the name of my loan consultant. I have found his name in several reports regarding this scam, with different company names.

I would like to thank the Rip-off Report website for saving me from sending my money to a scam. I was told that I was approved for a $5,000 loan but would have to send $715.00 to the private lender as security. It seems that when you a desperate for help, you are more trusting and gullible. I was told that I would not have a payment due for 7 months and would receive a refund of my security deposit when I had sent them 3 consecutive payments. I sent them my last two paystubs, W-2, drivers license copy and social security card copy. I am very nervous now that they have all of this information that they can use for identity theft.

I was actually at the bank with $715.00 in cash and the payment instructions to send it via Money Gram. The young girl at the bank told me she was concerned this might be a scam. She asked me if I had researched this company. I had not and started with your website.

Please be wary. I was lucky and hope that others will not fall for this scam and be out the thousands of dollars I have read about on this site.

If someone has some information regarding identity theft so that I can keep that from happening, I would be most appreciative.
