Chris Turner from Nationwide called us on August 5, 2009 stating that he had a buyer for our timeshare in Sedona, Arizona for $13,750.  The people had put $4500 as a deposit.  All we needed to do was send him $1792 fo a title search that would be refunded to us when we closed.  They overnighted a "contract" that turned out to be just an agreement to advertise the property.

We've called and called and the only response we got was on September 4th - their Customer Service Dept. said the title and deed were pending.  We keep calling and no one returns our calls.

Then in late September we got a call from a Jason Banks from International Resorts Solutions stating that Nationwide had been shut down by the State of Florida and our money was in Kenya.  He claimed that Nationwide's files had been turned over to International and Jason had a buyer and he wanted $900 to check the title.  He said we would get our $1792 back from the government once he proved to them that we had closed.  Fortunately we got real suspicious and checked with the Florida Attorney General's office and didn't send the additional $900.

Guess what?  Nationwide isn't out of business.  They must be working in cahoots and we would have been out $2692 if we hadn't gotten wise to them.

Run like mad if you get any calls from either a 561 or 786 area code!  From what the Attorney General's office told me, the only people that can sell a time share is a realtor.  These companies are just "marketing" and they are a scam.  We are now listed with a legitimate realtor here in Arizona and the price is a lot different than the big numbers they claim they can get for you.  You see dollar signs in front of you and forget common sense.  Don't do it!
