It is legal in Florida a file a lien against property for nonpayment for work done. But the question is can a business file a lien when no work is done other than a price sheet. The price sheet is claimed to be a contract.
Things that were not done, the back page of the "contract" was never seen by me, the date, model number, and VIN. The amount was wrong also.
The bottom line is with the fraudulent lien of $57,500 has cost us more because we do not have the down money to purchase a new home and move in. Have filed a complaint with the Division of Motor Vehicles in Florida, will have to wait another 45 days.
