I love it when I get back the little cardboard card saying "your submission is incomplete and therefore can not be honored." I always follow every line of instruction carefully because I know the companies offering rebates just love to find something wrong. Symantec is just the latest to pull this rip-off.

Unfortunately, rebates are processed by third party clearinghouses. They have nothing to do with the company offering the rebate.

Norton [Symantec] does not process their own rebates.

Also, Norton 2006? Just now processing a rebate for that? Norton 2007 has been out for months already and that rebate window closes soon.

FYI. Symantec rebates have been one of the worst for several years. That's why I stopped buying the product. Simple.
