On 1/20/2015 I ordered a Otterbox Defender protective cell phone case (black) for my Samsung Galaxy S4 on ny accessories website. I received a confirmation of my order (#56681) and later an email stating a shipping label had been prepared and that my item would be shipping shortly. I received no further updates or emails and after a week, I tried to go to their website and discovered it had been removed. I checked my credit card online and discovered that ny accessories had been paid $21.94, $15.95 for the cell phone case and $5.99 for shipping. My credit card statement showed that ACCTOWN ONLINE was the company paid and showed 646-307-1327 NY as their phone number. As of today (2/9/2015) I have not received the item, nor has my credit card account been reimbursed the $21.94 they were paid.

Persitence pays off

AUTHOR: Trent - ()

POSTED: Saturday, February 14, 2015

After nyaccessories.com pulled their website, I went to accessarybargains.com (which looks exactly like the other website) and sent them an email. I told them that I had contacted (which I actually did) the New York Attorney Generals online fraud division about them ripping me off. I told them them what my nyaccessories.com order number was and within a few days I started receiving emails telling me my Otterbox defender was on it's way with a USPS tracking number, like nothing had ever happened. Today (2/14/2015) it showed up in my mailbox and surprise surprise, it was exactly what I had ordered almost a month earlier. Was I happy? Of course! Will I do business with them again? Absolutely not, lesson learned.
