I was contacted by Mr. Freedmans rep. I was offered a chance to purchase a prefranchise for 495.00. I was also promised assistance getting it off the ground. I am unemployed, but the individual I was speaking to seemed honest so I purchased it.
After having the weekend to think about this I changed my mind. This was within 72 hours of the purchase, I do believe their is a 72 hour window for purchase cancellations. Anyway Mr. Freedman refused to refund my monies instead he promised to assist me in getting started.
I did receive some assistance from Oscar but Mr. Freedman would send emails to me stating I was lazy and uninterested in starting my business. It came to the point of me just telling him I would work with Oscar but had no desires to be involved with him.
Since then I have not heard from either. I would also recommend to anyone thinking of this to think twice. I was supplied a list of contacts that had been provided by a marketing company. Anyone can go through the phone book and create such a list. Also when I made contact with someone on the list they were usually disinterested. Even the sites they sent me to did not have any interest in using my services as a computer technician. I was under the impression these clients had been prescreened for my services.
I talked to mr Friedman, requested my refund and he pointed me to this no refund clause on his site that I had never seen before. Had I knew of him I would never commit myself to dealing with him. Even now he is continuing to sell this service but their is no hope for succeding because he has no planned support to offer you. I would advise anyone that does not have a ready built client base to stay away from this.

I've recently had the chance to discuss my concerns with Mr. Friedman. I addressed my issues with him and he presented his concerns to me. We came to a solution that worked for both of us. It was an agrement between us that will allow me to continue my pursuit of being a business owner and allow Mr. Friedman to continue his pursuit of establishing a first class franchise. After our meeting it was realized that their was a misunderstanding concerning the basic agreement. Mr. Friedman was generous enough to offer his assistance and experience to help me get started, he also offered to refund part of my initial investment. The refund was not required by me. This is not normal procedures, but as I came to realize later this is the type of person he is. This is a case were everyone concerned benefited from your process. I am planning on a long term partnership with Mr. Friedman and his franchise program. I am satisfied with this agreement and have no plans to log any additional complants on this matter.I do beleave this issue after being discussed by both of us is resolved and in the past.
