One Box Listings, Inc OBL, Inc Complete Scam - Holding our Account Hostage Temecula California

We are a reputable flood restoration company in San Diego that hired this company for online marketing. We did receive many phone calls through their listing, however, every singe call that came in was a telemarketer, wrong-number, empty dial tone, or otherwise junk. Over the course of several years, we literally did not receive one single legitimate lead. 

Finally realizing we were wasting money, we sent an email requesting cancellation of our service. Patty with OBL wrote back (eventually) to inform us we had to undergo some sort of bogus interview process where they present a spreadsheet of all the calls we received so they can "prove" to us all the leads they generated. We said that was not necessary but we would entertain whatever dog and pony show we had to go through to finalize our cancellation. Patty sent the "activity report" with instructions to call or email back if we still wanted to cancel. We did, but when we called and emailed we got no reply.

Months later, nothing had happened, no reply, so we elevated our urgency to have our account cancelled and to stop all auto-payments. Patty stopped replying to emails, and every time we called their number, we reached a joke call center and I never received a return call. 

We finally had to put a stop order with our bank on all automatic payments. This stop order is still in place. Every month, OBL Inc charges our account, and every month our bank reverses the charge. They are literally holding us hostage and refuses to cancel our account. We are nearing the point where we will have to cancel that bank account and open a new one so they cannot charge us anymore. That is going to bring with it an enourmous amount of hassle, as all of our other legitimate accounts are tied to that bank account. 

OBL Inc is a complete fraud, scam, and ripoff. We paid thousands of dollars and did not get one singe legitimate lead, and now they refuse to respond to emails and phone calls and continue to illegally charge our account. Thankfully our bank is vigilant in stopping the charges. 

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT HIRING THIS COMPANY!! The fact that they have multiple ripoff reports should be warning alone. The owner's rebuttal of "This person is not an actual client and this is a fake report" does not lend any credibility to their defense. I'm sure he will write the exact same cut and paste rebuttal for my report, at which point I am happy to provide to any interested party the copius paper trail of emails demanding that they stop our account.
