I never really registered to onlingo. i went throw their registration process but my web browser crashed just before the end of it. I never go a confirmation, what so ever.
Then after a few month i have seen on my bank activity report the each month i was charged for some CD set by onlingo that i never got.
when i called them they told me i had register which is not true. then they told me that one cd set was send to me ( neve got it) one was sent but it returned ( they charged me anyways) and then another one is on the way to me and if i want my money back i need to return it by mail.
i told them i never registered and want all my money back.
i would be thankful if somebody knew how to deal with these "a**holes".
Is there a federal office that deal with these issues.

Hi Dan,
My name is Donna and I too was scammed. I did register but they never disclosed that they would charge my credit card $69.95 a month. It was suppose to be a free laguage lesson, yea right. Onlingo has done this to so many people, just look at all the reports on this website alone, over 34. Go to the search button on ripoff.com and type in onlingo and read some of the others complaints, exact same issue.
Also read the rebuttal, it's pretty funny, I think Jennifer is an automated program that says the same rebuttal to every response. Onlingo also has over 80 complaints with the BBB in the past year. In just one year can you believe they are still in business?? Please make your report to the BBB, after many complaints there WILL be an investigation. Just do it online, it's really easy. Also I am writing to my congressmen and you can do the same.
The funny thing is if they would have refunded me my money they would have never heard from me again, and I would have never even know about all the bad reports on onlingo. I guess they think that people will just give up. Well think again!!
