ProSeal TV SCAM Hicksville New York

PROSEAL - What a ripoff. I saw the commercial on TV in April of 2006. They were offering some free stuff as an incentive to buy so I went to the website and ordered the proseal but decided against the "free" stuff that you had to pay extra for shipping.

The way the website is designed you have to give them your credit card information to even begin ordering. Once I discovered how high the shipping was for the free items, I decided to cancel my whole order but it wouldn't let me.

I immediately e-mailed the company and told them to cancel and NOT charge my credit card. Then to make sure - I also called them the next day (Monday). When I called, I was told to call back on Wednesday because that is when they processed the orders. I called back on Wendesday and they said it was too late they had already charged my credit card and the order had been shipped out on Tuesday!

They said that I could refuse it at the post office when I received it and then they would refund my money. I waited the 6-8 weeks never got the ProSeal. I called and they said that they would start processing my refund and to wait 30 days. After more than 30 days I called and they said the money had been deposited in my account on a specific date in June. I checked my bank statement no refund. I called again and asked for a manager they said there was no telephone number that they could give me directly that they would take care of it. I called again and they said there had been a delay and I would have the money in my account the next week. Two weeks later nothing. I called the 1-800-716-9658 number and got a recording to call 1-800-716-8667. I called and was put on hold for about 10 minutes and then the line went dead. I called back several times and always get a busy signal. This is a real SCAM. I can't believe that they advertise on television and they can get away with it and nothing has been done.

HELP - at this point it isn't even about the $30.00 that I'm out it is the principle of the whole thing. What can be done? It has been over 4 months.
