I was initially contacted by phone by Sandra Sage, she was soliciting sales leads for Business Brokers. Per the website (www.custom-solutions.net) they advertise "qualified Leads" meaning Business Owners interested in selling a business and who agree to talk with a Business Broker such as my self. I was to deposit $600.00 through PayPal, I was supplied two leads to start and two more every week ,the first two were positive , but after that the rest did not pan out.
(Copy of my email) Hi, I have contacted all the leads supplied, not very satisfied, two will not return calls ,one is less than $500,000 in sales, (Garage Door Repair) , the other is only part owner. Not what I expected. I would like to terminate service after this weekend. 3/20/2016, please issue a credit for the remaining deposit. Sorry it did not work out.
( Copy of Response) Joe, Sorry to hear the service is not what you expected at this point. I have forwarded your request to operations, they will send the leads we have for you this week over the weekend. Please allow us a day or two for us to do an audit. We will then refund any unused funds. Larry Barker)
A day later I was sent ten leads with an email that my deposit was now used up, These leads were no more than names & phone numbers, many did not respond some did, no recollection of talking to them, never told them they were interested in selling, not the owner, etc. To be fair, I would have settled for replacement leads , but no response.

If you say Blue, they will say Red, I don't have the time to spend on the matter, as far as I am concerned I paid in "good faith " for something promised in the advertising they sent, it did not turn out to be as advertised, they made no effort to correct the situation. I am enclosing a copy of my email to them , as you can see I was willing to pay what I owed for the two leads that were positive.
I am also enclosing an email I received from them on June 2nd. soliciting, contrary to their claim that I solicited them.
Unlike them ,I am not here to call names or cast disparaging remarks, just a consumer looking for fair treatment.

Too bad Joe Boylan's complaint is about five percent true. The truth is Joe Boylan-First Choice Business Brokers attempted to scam my company. After we completed his work he tried to tell PayPal that we never completed his project. Well since we did (and we did a great job as always) and could prove it PayPal certainly ruled in our favor.
But Paypal's response wasn't good enough for him so he tried to go through his credit card company to scam us. Again his claim that he didn't get his product to the Credit Card company was declined. (Isn't that against the law?) Now his claim is that he got lousy leads.
We are a great service, have been in business over 11 years, made a lot of Business Brokers a lot of money and have many, many happy clients. With that being said we can not make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. If you are not a good broker or work with a company with a bad reputation nothing short of finding a new career nothing will help. Just gaze at the man's listings.
Since I never spoke with Joe Boylan on the telephone to order it would have been a little difficult for me to ask him to order. He contacted us via our website.
Buyer beware do not do business with this man or his brokerage. You will get scammed.
