Known fact, myself and 4 others who had to wait 2 or 3 months to get paid, and had to call all the time to get that. Myself and others all ran for the normal rate; $140 or $1.50. ($4 a mile is bull, Steve must have wrote that.) Keep in mind, the above is only 5 vicitims, it is likely 5 to 10 fold that number of victims are out there; maybe many who ended up going out of business because of Steve Sharp.

Also, talked to 2 of his OD drivers, and they bacicly told me they were slow at getting paid too, and pilots were even slower. That work was slow in 2010 and Steve signed up 12 trucks to American to help his cash flow because he basicly over extended himself.

Once word got out about slow or no pay, and pilot cars would not become his victims, Steve got several pickups set up and had hired some of his own low life pilot drivers at minum wage, who were clueless of what they were there for. Now that Obamacare is going to cost him 3 - $5000 to keep his own clueless pilot cars. bet he is looking for new victims.

I drive pilot car for Mr. Sharp on a contract basis. This report is bogus. There were several pilot car companies hired at the time in question that charges Mr. Sharp outrageously for their services. There is such a thing as fairness in business and charging a between $3.00 and $5.00/mile for a run is ridiculous. I do not blame the man for not paying. Some of those pilot car bills were up around $6000.00. I have neve had a problem being paid by Mr. Sharp and he has always treated me with respect and digniy.
