texas direct auto Buyer beware! Very tricky and unethical management Stafford, Texas

    I am writing this consumer notice with the hopes of helping someone avoid the mistakes I made and to help others avoid the trauma that one endures when dealing with Texas Direct Auto.  I was purchasing a Cadillac Escalade and everyone was very pleasant up until the moment I expressed discontent with the condition of the vehicle.  The Escalade my salesperson showed me was in no way a nice car.  The one in the pictures looked pristine but in person it was in horrible condition.  Dents, scratches, missing door switches, horrible odor inside, elecrtonics not operational.  This vehicle was obviously flooded and abused and they were perfectly comfortable passing it off to an unsuspecting consumer as an accident free luxury suv with no issues.
    Once I saw it, I asked for my deposit back (they required that I leave a deposit over the phone to look at it) and was told "thats not going to happen"!!

    I asked for the manager and a gentleman (i use that term loosley) named Todd came out.  When I asked him what his position was he said in a very condescending tone "I run the place, what can I do for you?"  I explained my concern and expressed my discontent and said I simply wanted my deposit back.  His reply was "I'll have them pick out a nicer one for you but we don't give money back"  I told him I didn't want to chose another vehicle and again asked that my deposit be returned.  He grinned at me and said "thanks for coming in" and walked off.  I was taked aback by this go to hell attitude and said I wanted to speak to his boss to which he replied "I AM the top of the food chain Sir!"  

    As I was walking out I heard him tell one of the other criminals in uniform "I guess he thinks we need another f'ing car sale today!" to which they both laughed.  I can not imagine how the upper managemt and corporate offices can tolerate this type of criminal behavior!!  It just goes to show you that some people will say and do anything for the almighty dollar.  I hope this message reaches the proper potential consumers, upper management and ownership personnel.
