The Bradford Exchange Online Advertisement is deceiving. Niles, Illinois

On February 3, 2012,  I bought "The Trinity Sapphire And Diamond Cross Women's Ring Size 7" from The Bradford Exchange Online which was advertised on Facebook.  The advertised photo they had of this ring had Aquamarine colored Sapphires. What I got were black stones that I imagine are Sapphires. Sapphires come in different colors and if you are selling rings online, you need to be sure that your picture is as close to the actual item that you are selling, if not exact.

I called The Bradford Exhange's customer service number and I told the lady that I'm sending the ring back and I want a refund. She said, no problem. I asked for a paid return shipping label and it turns out they had sent a label with the ring in case you need to send it back.

I also explained to the customer service lady of the huge difference between the Sapphire in the advertised photo and the Sapphires that I received. She was aware and admitted that their Sapphires are a really dark color (she said they have dark blue Sapphires) which tells me they are purposely misleading buyers. These supposedly dark blue Sapphires look black.

I want to make sure everyone knows of what this company is doing.  Frankly, I can't believe they've been in business for so long. Hopefully, this matter can be dealt with and fixed.
