Vizio Defective picture. Nationwide

 I have a Vizio flat screen model E60 -C3. I purchased it in May of 2015. A couple months ago I noticed a rectangular shadow in the upper right corner of the picture. It has grown to a 1/4 of the picture and now another from side to side in the center. They told me that since it was past the first year warranty that all they could do was sell me a new one for over 700 dollars and free shipping. I said that's not an acceptable solution. They said I should have bought the extended warranty. The next offer was the same tv for $590 or an upgraded model for $810. Mind you, these prices are $20-30 less than Wal-Mart or Costco. I understand about the one year warranty, but come on! The tv lasted barely 6 months after the 1 year! I have looked and found other complaints about this very issue. I can't afford to fork out another $700 for a new set every year and a half! Nor should I be required to. I am NOT of the throw away, disposable mentality generation of today. When I pay good money for something I expect it to last a while! So I'm hoping that the more I tell about the defective products vizio is selling and the lack of concern about customer satisfaction they display, they will take notice. Thank you.
