On November 10, 2014, I purchased the Carli's Birthday Bundle set. Upon receiving my order, I realized I ordered the wrong shade of the Brow Bar. That same day, I called Whitening Lightning to explain the issue and proceeded to ask if there was any way I could exchange the product for the correct shade. The customer service representative said that I indeed could do the exchange and that once I sent the product back to them, I would need to call back with the tracking number so that they could then proceed to do the exchange. On November 12, 2014, I call back with the tracking number and was told that there was no record of the original purchase I had made even after I had given the customer service rep my exact order number.
I was then apologized to and told that a note of my exchange would be entered into the system and that it should be processed that same day. However, I never received a confirmation email nor my product. Essentially, I call back two weeks later and was told yet again that my original purchase was not on record, however, they had received the Brow Bar that I had sent back ( Keep in mind, I had to pay an additional $12 to send it back). That customer service rep also apologized, made a note in the system, and said she would process my order and send the confirmation email by the end of the day. Again, I did not receive anything. About a week later, I call yet again to check on the status of my order. To my complete and utter dismay, that customer service rep, in addition to not being able to find my original order in my file (surprise, surprise), said there was no note of any exchange to be made and that nothing was sent out.
He then proceeded to tell me that they had a change in systems and this could be the reason why my customer history could not be found, which I find extremely strange and a little unsettling especially, since this is my fifth purchase with this company. Again, I was told that my order would be processed and that I would receive a confirmation email by the end of the day. To my disappointment, I did not receive anything yet again. I then call again a couple days later, gave the customer service rep my information and original order number and was told again that it could not be found and that there was no note to be found. At this point, I asked to speak with the manager and was told that a manager was not available but that he would have one call me by the end of the day. I received no call. Today is December 19, 2014 and yes, I do plan on calling again until I receive what I paid for...
I don't expect any miracles but I refuse to be stolen from!!! I have never felt so frustrated and have never been lied to so much in my life. I am a loyal customer and I feel like this is how I've been rewarded. At this point, it doesn't have anything to do with the actual product itself but the principle of the matter. I expect I will be lied to yet again but I refuse to give up. It's sad though because I truly love Whitening Lightening's products. They are of extremely high quality and I have never been disappointed. Also, I've never had an issue in the past until now and because of this experience, I don't think I will be making any future purchases. Customer service is everything and unfortunately, this company is severely lacking in that department. Be warned, don't ever try to exchange any product through this company or you could be waiting indefinitely!!!

I want to begin by expressing our sincere apologizes for the the expierence you have had with our comapny. We changed our order management system last month, which has created some anomalies with some of our orders and it seems as though your reshipment of your brow bar was one of them. Please contact me ASAP at 661-993-2858 or amanda@whiteninglightning.com so I can make sure to get your reshipment out ASAP. I want to assure you that because of these errors, we have turned off the new order management system until the kinks can be ironed out. I am again so deeply sorry that your reshipment feel through the cracks and am embarrased of the service you have receveied. We LOVE our customers and want to make this right for you.
