Aloe M.P. Plus / Aloevin defrauding the public with false advertising and product misrepresentation for Years.

Everyone who has ever purchased Aloe M.P. Plus form Aloevin, may be entitled to a full refund, plus damages.

Aloe M.P. Plus / Aloevin ( Owners: IRA HELMAN & MATTHEW BROCCO )

Aloevin been has apparently getting away with Consumer Fraud, Misrepresentation, and False Advertising for years.

Under An Independent Laboratory Analysis from one of the most respected scientists in the Aloe analytical field, the actual polysaccharide content of Aloe M.P. Plus capsules is a mere fraction of what Aloevin is, and has been repeatedly claiming them to contain for years.

My name is Mathew Devonshire. At my own expense, I have contracted an independent laboratory analysis test on Aloe M.P. Plus. The test results clearly show that Aloevin, IRA HELMAN & MATTHEW BROCCO are misrepresenting the contents within their Aloe M.P. Plus capsule and thus, perpetrating Consumer Fraud on the suffering public. Aloevin has been in operation for approximately 9 years now.

I encourage anyone reading this site, to contract any reputable independent lab to perform the same type analysis on Aloe M.P. Plus for their own review. I would also recommend, that anyone who has ever purchased Aloe M.P. Plus product from Aloevin (from its inception), should demand a refund and/or contact an attorney if feel you have experienced damages, including but not limited to; damages due to lost time, in relationship to the misrepresentation Aloe M.P. Plus product content.

Independent Laboratory Analysis:

The analysis was preformed by Charles Metcalfe, Founder and Chief Science Officer of Custom Analytics, LLC. Mr. Metcalfe is an active member of the International Aloe Science Counsel and considered the most knowledgeable scientist in his field. He performs analyses for the pharmaceutical, personal care, and nutraceutical industries. He brings an interest and enthusiasm in improving upon the methodology used for characterization and standardization protocols for aloe raw materials and products.

Method:

The method used is Size-Exclusion Chromatography. (Size-Exclusion Chromatography determines both polysaccharides present, and their molecular weights or chain-lengths.)

Non-Relationship:

Mr. Metcalfe is an independent third party & scientist, contracted to perform his profession, a scientific product analysis. Mr. Metcalfe has no personal relationship, knowledge, or affiliation with this investigation.

Summation of Results:

1. The Actual Percentage of polysaccharide content found in Aloe M.P. Plus = 0.79% (less than 1%) x 375mg = 2.96 mg Actual polysaccharide content.

Aloe M.P. Plus CLAIMS: 334mg Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharide (actual content 2.96 mg)

The lab results clearly indicate this claim is Fraudulent.

2. The Percentage of stabilized long-chain polysaccharides, exhibiting 1,000,000 Dalton in length or greater in Aloe M.P. Plus = 0.00 (zero, none) Long-chain polysaccharides are non-existent in this product.

Conclusions:

Under Independent Laboratory Analysis, the actual contents of Aloe M.P. Plus capsules contain less than 1% of the polysaccharide content claimed by Aloevin, and the long-chain polysaccharides, which they tout and claim to provide in concentration, Do Not Exist in their product.

In light of these findings, in comparison to the misleading verbal methodology used within their promotional website literature outlined below, I conclude that Aloe M.P. Plus is committing Premeditated Consumer Fraud with Purposeful Intent.

The question therefore becomes; How Long has the suffering public possibly been deceived, and how many persons affected? Aloe M.P. Plus has been in operation for approximately 9 years.

My name is Mathew Devonshire. In my search for a natural solution for my mothers condition, I discovered several companies marketing products which claimed to be of great assistance for many digestive and autoimmune diseases. After reading and comparing several websites, I suspected this company, Aloevin / Aloe M.P. Plus of fraud, misrepresentation, and false advertising. I have a background in chemistry and biology, thus much of the unprofessional promotional material I was reading on the Aloevin / Aloe M.P. Plus website had a distinct ring of fakery, and non-scientific claims.

A person, such as myself searching for a solution for disease reads and understands the independent science behind the polysaccharide fraction of Aloe, and desires to gain the benefits. The injury may occur from the lost time a suffering consumer experiences while taking a charlatans mixture, thinking he or she is obtaining the advertised concentration, and on the right healing track, while potentially missing out on or rejecting other treatments which could alleviate suffering, and/or save life and limb.

The following additional quotes are, in light of the lab report, obvious Fraudulent statements which have been cut and pasted here verbatim from the Aloe M.P. Plus website.

Should the Aloe M.P. Plus website change, I have records, electronic and printed, of these facts. I also suggest that you retain records of their website so that any attempts or success for a future company denial of these facts may be defeated.

From their Website: Question 1: What is ALOE M.P. PLUS?
Answer: ALOE M.P. PLUS contains Aloe Vera Polysaccharides, also commonly referred to as Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharides (AMP) which are an extract derived from the Aloe Vera Plant specially formulated in high concentration levels

The lab results clearly indicate this claim is Fraudulent.

From their Website: Question 2: What are the contents of the Aloe M.P. Plus formula?
Answer: The Aloe M.P. Plus formula is designed to provide maximum nutritional and health benefit.
Aloe M.P. Plus contains 375 mg. of IASC certified AMP in each 500 mg. capsule.

Note: They are stating here that the main ingredient is 375mg of Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharides.

The lab results clearly indicate this claim is Fraudulent.

Note: They go even further, stating that the IASC has certified that 375mg of Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharides are in each capsuale and/or the contents are some sort of IASC certified AMP.

From their Website: Aloevin
: Each Aloe M.P. Plus capsule contains only the highest quality standardized AMP, verified and certified by the International Aloe Science Council (IASC).

From their Website: Aloevin:
Aloe M.P. Plus contains 375 mg. of IASC certified AMP in each 500 mg. capsule.

Note: The IASC (International Aloe Science Council) certifies the presence of Aloe vera in a product.

The IASC Does Not certify Polysaccharide Content or Amount of Polysaccharides in a product.

The IASC Does Not certify Aloe Muccilaginous Polysaccharide (AMP), Content, Amount, Quality, or Dalton Structure.

The IASC Does Not certify, Amount Present, Quality, or Dalton Structure of Polysaccharides (AMP).

Anyone can call the IASC and confirm this.

These Statements and Claims made by Aloevin in reference to Aloe M.P. Plus are clearly Fraudulent.

The IASC has been notified of these Fraudulent Claims and References.

From their Website: Question 3: How does ALOE M.P. PLUS work?
Answer: ALOE M.P. Plus's main ingredient, Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharide (AMP) is believed to

The lab results clearly indicate this claim is Fraudulent.

From their Website: Aloe M.P. Plus now contains 375 mg. of the highest quality AMP in each 500 mg. capsule, along with low-allergenic, nutritional, and easy to digest pharmaceutical grade rice protein.

Each capsule contains 375 mg. of concentrated Aloe Vera polysaccharides, and 125 mg. of rice protein.

Note: Again, and again they are stating that the main ingredient is 375mg of Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharides.

The lab results clearly indicate these claims are Fraudulent.

They persist;

From their Website: We are aware that other companies claim similar amounts of AMP in their products. Aloe M.P. Plus contains only the highest grade of standardized and IASC certified AMP extract.

And Again:
From their Website: Aloevin Corporation, now in our 7th year, continues to bring you best International Aloe Science Council (IASC) certified AMP capsule product available.

The lab results clearly indicate these claims are Fraudulent.

They stop at nothing:

From their Website: Our manufacturing process uses a proprietary process that produces a concentration of the very long chain (heavy weight) polysaccharides. When it comes to health benefits the polysaccharide molecule size absolutely matters. Only the very long chains (1 million to 2 million Daltons) provide the full benefits of all chain sizes, plus support for the immune system.

Note: Now they are attempting to convince us that a large portion of the fraudulent 375mgs (they possess less than 1%) are not only polysaccharides, but very long chain polysacchrides of 1 million to 2 million Daltons. They are non-existent in this product.

The lab results clearly indicate these claims are Fraudulent.

Over the top they go in pursuit of the dollar:

From their Website:
The AMP in Aloe M.P. Plus is comprised of 100% very large chain sizes. This is over three times the concentration found in fresh aloe.

From their Website:
With 375 mg. of AMP in each 500 mg. capsule, Aloe M.P. Plus provides you with the highest amount of certified AMP. We are unaware of any comparable product that has the IASC certification.

The lab results clearly indicate these claims are Fraudulent.

They seem to stop at nothing;

From their Website:
The AMP in Aloe M.P. Plus is comprised of 100% very large chain sizes:
Greater than 2 million Daltons - 12%

Between 1 million and 2 million Daltons - 88%
This is over three times the concentration of very large chains found in fresh aloe.

and on the another page of their site:

Our product is an Aloe Vera AMP extract that more closely matches the natural polysaccharides found in the fresh leaf.

Note: They cant seem to decide if its over three times the concentration or more closely matches the natural.

The lab results clearly indicate these claims are Fraudulent.

They even go beyond the Ridicules:

From their Website: The AMP in our product is stabilized and standardized, meaning it has a room temperature shelf life of two years, and the polysaccharides content from batch to batch is 100% consistent.

Notes: There is no such thing as standardized AMP. In addition, no serious scientist would claim 100% batch consistency on a product grown in nature. They proceed to contradict themselves, once again, on the next page, but at least they are concerned about us being mislead and confused, as they confirm that there is no such thing as AMP standardization or 100% batch consistency.

From their Website: Specific concentration claims made by others, such as "1000 to 1", can be misleading and confusing. The amount of AMP extracted from raw aloe gel varies widely and depends on many factors, including growing conditions such as harvest season and rainfall amounts.

Onward:

From their Website: The most important point to consider when comparing aloe products is the absolute AMP quality and content.

From their Website: Be aware of other companies making high AMP content and concentration claims. Regardless of how much raw aloe it takes to extract the Aloe Vera polysaccharides, the most important and relevant comparison is the actual amount of quality polysaccharides in each capsule.

This is True, and this is why I ran an Independent Laboratory Analysis on these Irrepressible Charlatans, IRA HELMAN & MATTHEW BROCCO.

From their Website:
One Aloe M.P. Plus capsule contains 375 mg of high quality, standardized, IASC certified AMP (i.e., high content of long-chain or high molecular weight polysaccharides).

The lab results clearly indicate these claims are Fraudulent.

Note: If one does the math from the lab report, one finds that it would take More capsules than they have ever conceivably sold, to total 375mg of long-chain polysaccharides which they are claiming in each capsule. ( 0.00 x 20 million = 0.00 )

From their FAQ page;

From their Website: Be aware of other companies making high AMP content and concentration claims. Regardless of how much raw aloe it takes to extract the Aloe Vera polysaccharides, the most important and relevant comparison is the actual amount of quality polysaccharides in each capsule.

From their Website:
Other companies sometimes use lower grades of aloe containing much lower and much less costly amounts of AMP, and bulk Aloe Vera solids.

Note: Now Aloe M.P. Plus / Aloevin (IRA HELMAN & MATTHEW BROCCO) is warning us to be aware of others. Wonderful. This group is among the most deceptive I have analyzed to date.

Here are a few questions you, the reader, may wish to ask the folks at Aloevin / Aloe M.P. Plus: (IRA HELMAN & MATTHEW BROCCO)

1. Why are you people selling 375mg of standard aloe vera powder in a capsule, and telling the suffering public that it contains 375mg of Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharides? (AMP)?

2. How many years have you been perpetrating this campaign of False Advertising, Consumer Fraud, and Misrepresentation upon the public?

3. Do you know the difference between the polysaccharide portion of Aloe, and the remaining components? Do you care?

4. Do you believe the public deserves to know what is truly in your capsules?

5. Why do you claim your product contains the highest concentration of Aloe polysaccharides, and that those polysaccharides were extracted from the Aloe vera plant, when you know you are using standard processed aloe powder which contains less than 1%?

6. Do you have any knowledge of science or the process that you are claiming to orchestrate?

7. Do you think the consumer is stupid? Do you think no one is watching and you will not be caught and prosecuted?

8. How can Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharides perform all the benefits to the body as you state and display the research, when you hardly put any in the capsule, yet tell us it is loaded with 375mg???

9. How do you Dare use the good name of the International Aloe Science Council to perpetrate your deceit on the public?

10. Are you aware of the penalties for Consumer Fraud and the accumulation of funds through fraudulent advertising related activities?

11. How can you be so BRAZEN, as to tell us to Be aware of other companies when you are the one perpetrating this Fraud, Misrepresentation, and False Advertising, upon us Yourselves?

12. Are you a flight risk? Are you considering leaving the country at this point?

Facts > Semantics #Aloevin #AloeMPPlus

AUTHOR: Josh - (United States)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 07, 2021

To Ira Helman, and the seemingly fraudulent post from Aloevin, As a former customer of yours, and a law student I don't think you helped your case very much in regards to your reply. Nor do I think the individual, (Mr. Brocco is a safe bet) attempting to impersonate the independent researcher presented by the original poster was a wise decision. As an observer and a former multi time customer of Aloe MP, (I suffer from UC) I'll share my thoughts of what I see here.

1. Claiming to have an "A rating with the BBB" means absolutely nothing especially.in regards to the legitimacy of one's product. Last I checked, they don't provide any independent testing, nor do they have the capability to acknowledge Aloevins or any companies like them in regards to their claims, let alone fact check them. Anyone who has any experience in running a business, knows that the BBB is nothing more than a membership community for businesses.

The BBB makes its bottom dollar, by getting paid annual memberships from businesses, so kindly don't make that a leg to stand on, in regards to defending you or your companies character. That dog won't hunt, unless you're trying to fool the general naive public, who doesn't know any better. At the end of the day it's simple math on who/what the BBB is going to protect and who's interests they have in mind. Their own. Want more proof? Take a look at chefs like Wolfgang Puck.

This man refused to pay this crooked organizations membership fee, and has a "F Rating" on their website. Absolute (bad) joke. That's like giving Gordan Ramsey an "F Rating". I myself run a business, and my highest rating is an "A-" because you can't get that ollll "A+" unless they get your money. Check & mate there. Moving on.

2. However the original poster chooses to spell his name, (inconsistencies or otherwise) doesn't prove either of you as accurate. Having said that, anyone who goes out of their way to make references to someone's spelling errors, as some form of defense against their accusations, also says something about the defendant. Perhaps the OP wanted to remain anonymous, or perhaps one should have a better rebuttal based on facts, versus childish comments regarding spelling.

3. "Our record speaks for itself " what track record exactly are you referring to? I have looked for hours, and all I can for the most part is reviews on Aloevins website, regarding "customer reviews". So basically, we are supposed to take your word for it? Interesting. Again, perhaps if Aloevin provided something tangible like actual test results from an avtually accredited independent researching company, that would squash any claims or accusations again Aloevin.

I could say more, but I'll wrap this up here. As a former customer, and someone who was about to purchase from your company again, I will wholeheartedly state that I will pass. My only regret is not seeing this information sooner, as I've spent an upwards of two thousand dollars on Aloe MP Plus over the course of 8 years - All the while wondering why it's kinda worked in the beginning for upkeep towards the last bottle doing seemingly less than ever before. My customer loyalty was primarily based on trust - you've shown here that you can't be trusted.

Until Aloevin and these other so called A.M.P. selling companies has independent data to provide the public with ANY TANGIBLE UNBIASED DATA/RESEARCH TO PROVE YOUR CLAIMS, OTHER THAN YOUR BIASED OPINIONS I'll pass. All of you "businesses" should be ashamed of yourselves, for exploiting people who physically sick to the point of desperation, just to fill your pockets. But hey, ain't that the world we live in? Good riddance.

Impersonation and Contradiction

AUTHOR: Concerned and Observant Consumer - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 25, 2012

Hmm, that's peculiar.  Mr. Helman, does Mr. Charles Metcalfe work for Aloevin?  No??  I didn't think so.  But then why were his remarks authored by "Aloevin - New York (United States of America)", just as yours were?

You have me scoffing in disbelief and laughing as a result of utter amazement.  If you're going to post a fake rebuttal and impersonate someone without their knowledge by doing so, the least you can do is post that rebuttal using a DIFFERENT Ripoff Reports account.  That way, it MIGHT pass as believable.  As it stands, however, I am staring directly at you with your hand in the cookie jar.  I would consider my usable English vocabulary to be somewhat expansive, but despite this, I am still not sure quite how to describe such a flagrant and transparently despicable act.

Putting every single other allegation and contradiction on this page aside, I would NEVER buy any product you or your company sells based on this simple and obvious display of dishonest and unethical conduct.

Statement from Charles Metcalfe of Custom Analytics

AUTHOR: Aloevin - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 02, 2012

It is my opinion that the data our laboratory provided to M. Devonshire is being misinterpreted to the detriment of the companies which he is making adverse claims against.

Aloe powder in its pure form does NOT contain 100 % aloe polysaccharides but is a mixture of many different organic compounds, including malic acid, glucose and other assorted carbohydrates.  A high quality aloe powder may contain as much as 15 - 18 % aloe polysaccharides.  Some aloe powders may contain significantly less of the aloe polysaccharides depending upon the manufacturing process.  So for example if a label makes the claim that a product contains  100 mg of aloe powder, at best it may contain 15 mg and at worst a much lower amount.

The International Aloe Council (IASC) does NOT promulgate specifications of aloe polysaccharide content on any finished product.  In fact is problematic to do so as the assay used to determine the amount of aloe polysaccharide in raw materials often does not provide accurate results due to the presence of other raw materials used to make the finished product.

I wish Mr. Devonshire would stop misrepresenting the data that our laboratory provided him.

A Message From the President of Aloevin Corporation

AUTHOR: Aloevin - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 10, 2012

Hello, I am Ira Helman, president of Aloevin Corporation.  Since 2004, Aloevin Corporation has maintained an A+ Better Business Bureau Rating (http://www.bbb.org/central-florida/business-reviews/health-and-diet-products-retail/aloevin-corporation-in-debary-fl-4003707) and Aloe M.P. Plus has been continuously certified by the International Aloe Science Counsel (http://www.iasc.org/complete.html#A).

Unfortunately, we have become aware of Mat(t)hew Devonshire and would like to assure our present and future customers that we have reason to believe no such person exists (we would hope that a person who actually existed would know how to spell his first name correctly in a consistent manner).  We have reason to believe that Mat(t)hew Devonshire is an unethical competitor.

We have had previous success in taking down other Mat(t)thew Devonshire web sites based on his false email address (mathewdevonshire@yahoo.com) and false mailing address.  An email to the aforementioned address that he posted in his report will result in a bounce back.

We understand that some present and future clients may have concerns regarding these false postings; however, we assure you that our record speaks for itself and we stand behind our companys products.

We encourage anyone with questions or concerns to contact us and we are happy to answer any questions regarding our products.

Sincerely,

Ira Helman
