I was promised a pool for my son's birthday in August from Alaglas Pools in St. Matthews, SC and it is January and they still haven't made it good, it was finally delivered on August 19 only to install it crooked and when they poured the concrete 2 months later the walls caved in before they could even put water in it. We have paid upfront 39,295.80 but we have spent a total of 55,000, I have receipts. They never come out when they were supposed to, we had to rescue a puppy that almost drowned on 11/23/20 and it is an eyesore in our front yard, we are by law required to cover it or fence it in and cannot even do that at this point.

We have children in our home and are worried for their safety. I have spoken to the owner and he made promises that never came to be and he now says if I get a lawyer and start a law suit it will take me 6 years to get anything and he said I will spend even more and it wont be worth it. I work very hard for every dollar I earn and for him to just take my money without trying to do the right thing and with no concern is very bad business. I have called and they refuse to return my call and I am quite honestly at my wits end. I read reviews and went with them even though they were a little bit more expensive but the reviews were good, turns out they tell people to write good reviews and they will give you a pool accessory for free. There are bad reviews if you research this. I obviously wanted a pool and would love for him to finish it but if not I want a refund.

I am out of my money as they required it all up front so I have no leverage, all I have is an eyesore in my front yard which is just embarrassing at this point and I have to worry about animals or children drowning. Please help us resolve this!
