had a terrible experience leasing my 2020 Chevy Silverado Trailboss Black edition @ Auto Nation of Coral Gables. The sales people had minimal knowledge of the vehicle I was leasing. As part of the leasing negotiations I was to return the next day to install specific side steps on my truck.

When I arrived at the dealer they were trying to persuade me to install different & cheaper side steps and told me that the steps they promised me the day before couldn’t be installed. After refusing their offer and telling them that I wanted my trade in vehicle returned to me they were able to install the original steps that were agree upon.

They also told me that none of the Silverado trucks came with seats that lift. This shows their lack of knowledge as some Silverado’s come with a package opinion that has multi function in the seats. In addition, after 3 days of driving my new leased truck they called me urgently to tell me that my payoff amount was short.

It turns out my trade In vehicle had a buyers opinion fee of $ 700.00 and they told me I was responsible for paying it. They gave me a story the my trade in vehicle was off the lot and taken to auction. Again, they would not return my car and told me I had to pay the money. This was their mistake for not calling and finding out the accurate payoff amount for my car including their fees. I had no way out and had to pay the additional fee as they were not willing to take the responsibility of their financing department’s error.

This is not the way people should be treated as a loyal Chevy customer for 14 years. I don’t recommend doing business with this dealer as they try to make promises they later don’t want to keep. You will not walk out of there a happy customer. It’s better to deal with an Auto Broker. Get the deal done over the phone, hassle free and have the vehicle delivered to you’re house or office.

Why Are You Playing Around With a FLEASE and. Dealership Which Adds BOGUS FEES?

AUTHOR: Momo - (United States)

POSTED: Monday, February 24, 2020

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? First off you're getting into a CAR FLEASE. Just wait until you turn this thing in and they hit you with exaggerated wear and tear charges which YOU already agreed to pay! You also went along perfectly with their BOGUS FEE SCAM. Did you even bother to read the paperwork? You also very clearly wrote how you felt you were treated poorly. Why then did you go along with THAT and reward them? Like I said at the outset: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?
