BRIDGECREST is an auto lender, who people are FORCED to use when buying a car from CARAVANA.  BRIDECREST who, during the middle of a Pandemic, are UNWILLING to work with people who lost their jobs and were off work for only 2 month even though they have a payment plan and deferral plan in place.  When talking to BRIDGECREST, they go round and round in circles say the car is still out for repossession only being 2 payments behind and can't be cancelled without an immediate payment even though I have a payment scheduled in 2 days and haven't received a full payment check.

The supervisor told me she hears these calls every day.  I'm like that's Jim Dandy during NORMAL times but we are in a PANDEMIC.  These are extraordinary times and extraordinary measures need to be taken to help people who were laid off of jobs by no fault of their own.  Plus, I've been in this car for 4 YEARS!!!.  TOTAL RIPOFF.  SCAM.  WISHED I NEVER BOUGHT A CAR THROUGH CARVANA.

Oh yes the "They won't work with me" entitlement mentality.

By your own admission, you are 2 payments behind. If they wouldn't work with you you would not be on a payment plan, you would not have received any deferrals. They would have repossessed your car after your first missed payment. This isn't a case of "They Won't work with me", this is a case of "They won't do what I WANT them to do".

The Pandemic is excuse 1002. If it wasn't the Pandemic, you would have come up with one of 1001 other excuses as to why they should "work with you". Don't say you wouldn't because by your own narrative you would expect them to "work with you" anytime you lost your job due to no fault of your own.

Pandemic or not, the reason they hear it every day is because everyday people who aren't making their payments have their own "story" as to why the company should "work with them" and make an exception. At some point, they need people to pay off their loans. They are a business, not a charity.  Sorry if this sounds rough, this is just the reality.

But it seems like you are leaving a few things out in terms of your payment plan or deferral plan? How long were you on these payment plans and deferrals while they won't "work with you"?  Were you current on your payment plan by making every payment for the full amount and on-time?

As for you being forced to use them. WRONG, you were free to go out and find your own financing or find a different dealer. But don't expect other lenders to treat you any differently.

Perhaps if the car is out for repossession you need to play a game of "Hide and Seek" for a few days until you make your payment.
