Cheney Bro Worldwide Moving Overcharge, Under deliver, Non responsive Ft Lauderdale FL

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY under any circumstances….

Cheney Bro Moving

1. They give you a discount to get you to do business with them, and then, when they pick up your stuff and it is over, the initial contract is void; therefore, the discounts are void.

2. They tell you verbally (or via text) for a delivery shipment for their estimate, only to find that when you get the final contract, they change that time to 30 days. If I had known this, I would not have contracted with them in the first place.

3. They underestimate your cubic feet pickup, so that when they do pick up, it is over triple their original estimate.

4. They do not give you copies of what you are signing, and only give you a contract (with an extremely adjusted price) only after your items are on the moving truck. I guess I should have them empty the truck at that point when their charges became outrageous. over 3 times the quoted estimate amount.

5. They sent 1 mover to pick up household goods; I had to help move.

6. They cannot give you a pick up or delivery date, except to call you within 24 hours, and then a 1 hour notice. I did not get that on either side of the move.

7. They called me at 630pm the night before with a show time window for the following day of 9am to 3pm. They did not show up on time for pick up.

8. They do not answer their phones, nor do they respond to emails when they say the will respond.

9. Please read the reviews on the Better Business Bureau website and see that I am not the first victim of poor service and inaccurate estimates, delivery, and pricing. Don't be another victim. Yes, you feel free to contact me and I'll gladly give you more details.
