I was solicited via email to buy into a new type of web desigthat interacted with data fed to it in real time. Like the other person who filed a complaint here Mathers continually promised to keep deadlines and failed to keep any of them.

He used multiple email addresses from the same discovrbookings.com domain and finally when given an ultimatum to produce or I'd dispute the charge he claimed to have been in a motorcycle accident and to be in the hospital. He then sent an email supposedly from another co worker "Kelly" with a stock image I found all over the internet supposed to be her.





His modus opperendi is to continually make excuses as to whay he isn't able to fulfill his ongoing promises to finish what he lies about doing. Beware he is very good at telling believable lies as he has a good grasp of technical terms related to what he says he's doing. I disputed the charge to my bank and found that the credit card information was used to obtain money at a place that gave him cash for a fee.

There was no charge from discovrbookings.com at my bank it was listed as a wire transfer. I had dialogue with Darren Mathers over the period of 90 days before giving up hope of ever getting what I was promised. As it stands now I'm waiting to receive a refund and will be reporting him to the Portt Adelaide Austraslia police if they will take the complaint.

I trusted his word and he even convinced me to stop the first dispute I lodged with my bank via smooth talk and numerous excuses. I gave him until today to produce and he came up with a story about being in a motorcycle accident and having to casncel out "final" chance internet appointment. He then sent me an email signed by "Kelly Springett" with a small image of her in the signature which when searched on Google image search revealed it to be all over the internet, The email also told me to wait 24-48 hours for a new appointment but to not respond to "her" email and that Darren was to be unavailable.

That was it. As far as I can tell he's perpetrating internet fraud and I'm pretty sure I'm right. No company office address on the website or in hie email signatures either.

I have resolved the misunderstanding I had with Darren Mathers and now believe it was an overraction to a misunderstanding I had of the fact that he has a tough job and might be a bit overstretched as far as workload combined with the cutting edge of what he is doing combined with my own cynical nature.

I have apologized to him and continue working with him. During the misunderstanding he remained calm and offered me a full refund. Myself I became doubtful and overreacted to the situation. Throughout my frankly hostile communications with him he remained professional and communicative. All has been resolved and I remain working with him.

I contacted 3 people who were listed as contacts on the websites used on discovrbookings.com as "satisfied customers" I received replies from two of them.....

"I have had my suspicions but then when our website was finally completed I felt a sense of relief and thought all was ok and not a scam. I was told Darren had a stroke and the only reason I believed this to be true is because I after several attempts trying to call him my call was finally answered but it was answered by someone whom I could barely understand due to a very slurred speech and assumed I had called the wrong number. 

I was then advised by Lucy Flores from Discovr that Darren had suffered a stroke and she would be my point of contact.  Well that lasted one email then I couldn’t contact her either! I sent Darren a message whereby I apologised for contacting him considering he was unwell and said I was totally fed up with not being able to communicate with anyone.

He sent me a message saying I should expect an email from “Jonathon” who would assist me and this is the email I did not receive although have been told it had been sent and to check my Spam but no email in any folders! I was promised by Kelly Springett ( who may be some fictitious person!!! and Lucy Florse ( maybe another fictions person?) a refund of $500 ( it was offered to me even though I had not asked for it) back in March last year plus $500USD of credit into my Discovr account.

Of course I have never received any of this even after several reminders of what has been promised! I really do not know where to go from here. One thing for sure, I will not be allowing them to continue with the website for my second property. I feel sick enough to know they have control of Sombrero website. Yes we did have another website which was developed by an employee and I believe the Discovr website has replaced it!
