Excell Insulation Ryan Pederson or Joe Butler Refuse to pay when job is finished Oak Park Michigan

These guys from renew Home Improvement or Excell Insulation are rip-offs and unprofessional, I completed a job for them in February 2018, it was inspected and passed inspection and the homeowners were happy with the job. Ryan Pedersen owes me $4,200 for this job, when it came time to pay the final amount every excuse was made not to pay me.

Before it was inspected Ryan Pedersen said when it's inspected I'll get paid, then the excuse of bad work came in when like I said the homeowners were happy. I've been doing this work for 32 years and no one has ever been unhappy with my work, then I guess just in case the bad work one didn't cut the ice he came up with I left a big mess.

I took him to court over the issue and won by default because he didn't even show up, I put a lien on the home owner's house I really didn't want to do that because they seemed like nice people but people need to be paid when they complete work, my 2 sons worked on this job in 17 degree temperature with 19 MPH winds just to finish it.

I will drop the lein and update this report if they do what's right and pay me I just wanted to let everyone know to beware of this company, beware of Ryan Pedersen and Joe Butler Ryan's telephone number is 248-961-9033 and Joe's telephone number is 734-259-9934, they may put on the mask of professional and businesslike but they're far from it.

I've heard that I'm not the only one they've done this to so if they do work for you it would be at your own risk, you may end up having a lien placed on your house by the subcontractors that they hire. Good luck
