On September 19 2019 i brought my truck to Grava for repair that was under warenty. I asked for a rental and they gave me a rental from Enterprise car rental in Medford Ma. A notice at Grava stated rentals are for 5 days. I got my rental and, at the fifth day the truck was still unrepaired so i called Enterprise rental , and asked if an extension was given by Grava they informed me it had not but they would be suprised if it was not given so i told Enterprise to call me if the extension was not given ,and they never called me to say it was not given.  On October 7 i called Dodge with a complaint against Grava stating the truck repair was not done and it was a long time at Grave and i was concerned as the truck was a 2018 Ram under Dodges warenty. Dodge assigned me a case worker who called Grava severall times until the truck was repaired on October 16.  The Dodge case worker called me on October 25 informing me the rental cost was approved that Dodge would pay the rental and Grava would pay 10 days of the rental at no time was i told i would have to pay for any full rental cost my cost was to be only 3 dollars a day Enterprise asked for my credit card for the 3 dollar a day cost i gave it but i never signed any forms or agrements it was verbal 3 dollars a day thats it. When i got my credit card statement on November 19 i was charged by Enterprise $356.96 a 28 day rental for which i should have been charged only $84 dollars i was charged wrongly $272 dollars which Grava was to pay. I complained to Dodge again they put a request in to Grava for the money i should not have been charged for. Today November 21 Dodge called me and said the servise mnager at Grava refused the request for payment and she did not know why as i was not informed of a $700 dollar limit that Grava has.  At no time did Grava Enterprise or Dodge inform me of any $700 rental limit and i was driving the rental for 10 days without any knowledge i was being charged for the full rental charge during that time. I asked Enterprise for the reciept of the amount Grava paid which was $700 and the reciept had Grava as making the payment to Enterprise. Grava is responsible for the 10 days i was wrongly charged ,and if there realy was a $700 limit i should have been told that. I had bought the truck from them my second purchase from them and all servise for 10 years was with Grava on those two trucks thats how they treat loyal coustemers. I was wrongly charged by Grava.

Seems a bit sketchy

I'm not talking about the dealer, I am talking about the Rental Car..

Enterprise asked for my credit card for the 3 dollar a day cost i gave it but i never signed any forms or agrements it was verbal 3 dollars a day thats it.
- I have NEVER rented a car, on my own or with another company paying, where I have not signed something..let alone it being a "verbal" agreement. If that is truly what you are saying then you need to immediatly dispute the charge on your card saying you never authorized it. Since they wouldn't be able to provide a signature, it should be pretty simple. Now, if they do provide a signature you have additional issues of forgery and fraud..if you truly did not sign anything.

I asked for a rental and they gave me a rental from Enterprise car rental in Medford Ma.
- Generally a Manufacturer warranty does NOT cover any sort of rental, this would be an agreement between you and the dealer. So when you "asked" for a rental did you just assume you would get this for free(or $3/day) or did they specifically state it would be covered while your car was being repaired? Do you have anything in writing from the dealer stating they would cover it?

You need to go to Enterprise and get a copy of your final statement, this will show you the exact charges for the rental. There is a possibility that Enterprise added some sort of "Insurance" to your rental, that is not covered by the dealer and your responsibility.

Good Luck

They Probably Didn't Have a Limit Until They Decided To Not Cover The Rental!

When you are messing with a car dealer, you need to understand that in general, you're dealing with the slime and scum of the earth where honesty and integrity are not words in their vocabulary. The reason you weren't informed of the limit is probably because there was no limit and they cooked up this c**k and bull story because they didn't want to pay for it! The Sleazy American Car Business is nothing more than a collection of slimeballs who are choking on the stench of their own dishonesty. People in prison know they can get a job in the car business when they get out. The business is loaded with ex-cons, felons and all types of criminals. You were defrauded, there's no doubt about that and sadly, that's par for the course for slimeballs in the car business. Now spread the word!
