Hawthorn Recovery Services Attempting to Collect Debt using lies and intimidation tactics Columbia Missouri

On 03/30/2021 this company called myself and two of my relatives in regards to this alleged debt. They were very rude, used foul language, and were very manipulative. They claim that I owe them $10,000 from a Bank of America account from 2006. I do not owe this debt and I refuse to take any responsibility for it. After informing them of this they got really nasty with me. They said they had already submitted papers to the district attorney and would have me arrested. They also said that they would put a lien on my car (they told me exactly what year and model car I drive) and my home if I do not cooperate. They used profane language and berated me on not paying this supposed debt and said that they don't understand why I think I am not responsible for it. My two relatives reported the same tactics used on them. 

****DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY A DIME OF YOUR MONEY. THEY ARE "DEBT SCAVENGERS" or "ZOMBIE DEBT COLLECTORS.**** Please research these terms on google. Chances are you do NOT owe the debt that they are saying you owe. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING, even $20, because it means you are taking responsibility for the debt. Do your own research. They will threaten and intimidate you but do not give in, they are blood suckers and all their threats are empty. They can do nothing to you!!!
