Lost $426.94 on rental car in Denver last week. Booked through HOTWIRE to save money. How stupid could I be? Never again! After waiting for shuttle Wed night for over an hour with family, I asked another shuttle driver about ACE car rental shuttle. They laughed! And all to save a few bucks! Had to scramble to get another rental at the airport, fortunately I was able to get one that late. Neither ACE rental or HOTWIRE would refund, they both said the other was responsible. EXPEDIA and its subsidiary , HOTWIRE are both ripoff companies. Avoid them both like the plauge!

ALL of these third party reservation places are USELESS! You, me nor anybody else needs ANY of them. You can do everything they do by going direct. They cater to the inexperienced traveler and THEIR GOAL is to catch somebody in their no cancellation net so they can extract ALL the money from you! Don’t ever, ever, ever again use any of them. They are COMPLETELY USELESS and every cent paid to them is a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!
