Geez, you are an idiot.  Your little stunt could have caused a whole lot of problems for you and for the rental car agency, all because you're a creepy little man who couldn't come out and simply given the gift yourself.  Go away little man....I'll let Enterprise know about you....I'm sure it will help them avoid you as a customer and a potential lawsuit in the future.

James the first thing I thought when I saw this word creep was someone knew you and agreed .with the post.  To read your statement of rebuttal; you mention mental health.  James, I have a Master's in Counseling

and your response has guilt written all over it.  IF someone posted this about me, I assure you had I been innocent of the charges, I wouldn't be arguing about irrelevant points; I'd be clearing my name immediately.

Instead you want to argue about whether or not I'm saved, when James you are the one who took the gift NOT intended for you. 

When I first called you about a month ago you merely hung up.  Then I called a few weeks later to leave another message.  Then I emailed you via LinkedIn, yet you ignored my pleas for you to give back the money you stole.  I did not want to write this post, but you gave me no choice.

the Lord led me to give a gift to a brand new employee at Enterprise Car Rental. I bought a $150 Ross gift card, wrote a beautiful anonymous card to this woman....   That is so creepy.  Dude the LORD had nothing to do with your actions.  The minute I read that, the first thing I thought of is that you're mentally ill.  Unfortunately, you confirmed that when you typed, "I did a little checking on your background, and see you had a stint with a Christian ministry." 

 This is the behavior of a stalker and of someone with passive aggressive behavior tendencies along with having some anger management issues.  It certainly isn't the behavior of a Christian in need of grace and repentance.  You are in need of serious counseling as well.

Then you approach her 6 years after the fact to ask her if she remembered anything about the gift card that was given to her as a new employee - you know the $150 gift card from a place that sells second hand everything from someone acting anonymously?  Of course she said no.  The whole thing has creep written all over it.  She likely threw it away.  I would not blame her.

Legally, in the situation you describe, if an employee gave a card and a gift to another employee just starting, then your gift could be perceived in OR as harassment, which would land the person who was doing you a favor, in legal hot water.  She could have sued her employer, and the employee who was doing you a favor.  Next time, have the courage of your convictions, rather than cower like a thief in the night.

If James has second thoughts about his horrible choice in this case, he is free to contact his former employer EHI and reimburse them for their recent expense of having to make up for his thievery. James do the right thing and make good on your dirty deed!!!
