John Foster Farley and his wife "Mike M." aka Mike Ma, aka Tina Shin, aka Tina Mijin Shin took to Yelp to malign our company because they don't follow simple instructions and were demanding a free service call which we felt was extortion, in addition to the ones we already provided the day of the heater install and a follow up visit to troubleshoot their pool lights and automation where NOTHING was mentioned by his wife Tina when we spoke with her for 20 minutes and listened to how she broke her foot... In hindsight, the universe is awesome!! 





I digress,  John Foster Farley and his wife called, text and emailed numerous times several weeks after the pool heater was installed.  We were prompt, courteous and helpful, UNTIL his wife attempted to extort us with a demand that we send someone AGAIN or she would malign us online.  At which point we reserved our right to refuse further services and provided them with the manufacturers phone number  if they believed there was an issue with their brand new pool heater.  John Foster Farley, immediately after his wife provides a one star Yelp review posts the following:

  "I am writing this review. To let people know not only did this company not perform work to my satisfaction. They have insulted and threatened my wife, her name is Mijin and goes by her American name Mike Ma for many years.

My wife wrote a negative review because this company installed a pool heater aprox 3-4 weeks ago and it does not work to heat the pool.

We asked for help and was told to have our pool guy fix it. When my wife wrote a review they assumed it was me and sent me a scathing warning that I had somehow broken the law. They advised me they will be turning this over to there atty. I will be writing the BBB today and I will be handing this over to my Atty as well.

Please remember I asked them multiple times to fix as the pool heater had never been tested at time of install, it has only worked heating the jacuzzi. It is shocking to me a business owner treats people this way and stays in business??

  John Foster Farley we installed a pool heater which is and was working properly after installation.  Additionally it is under a FULL 3 YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY!  Our service technician showed you THREE times how to operate the heater from your automation and how to control the pool pump speeds to increase flow for the pool heater.  Your wife said nothing to our technician the following weekend about any issues with the heater since installation but told us about her broken foot.  Funny, she didn't think to mention anything?  Heater was working and tested at time of installation!! 

 Hundreds of 5 star reviews, tens of thousands of satisfied customers we refuse to be extorted by anyone let alone idiots! We have provided several solutions to your problem, ADJUST YOUR POOL PUMP SPEED IN POOL MODE to a higher RPM (over 3,000 is recommended), we provided a demonstration in person to your husband John Foster Farley  not once, not twice but THREE times, we have text instructions, we suggested you could ask your pool service man, have emailed a link to turn the variable speed pump up yourself, offered to come out for a service call fee which you refused.  Instead, you threaten extortion if we don't provide free services, we don't respond or do business under duress.     "They have insulted and threatened my wife, her name is Mijin and goes by her American name Mike Ma for many years."  

John Foster Farley we did not threaten or insult your wife "Mike". It was the other way around, she threatened extortion if we didn't provide additional free services.  We don't respond to threats nor do we conduct our business under duress.  Our technician showed you THREE times how to control the pool heater and use spa mode from inside your house.  It works EXACTLY how your previous unit works, you need to INCREASE your variable speed pump. We did not install your variable speed pump, we did not install your automation.  We installed a pool heater which two of our technicians were present when it was test fired.  Install technician showed you THREE times the heater came on each time.

 You left a voicemail which we have CONFIRMING the pool heater works in spa mode and we provided several solutions including a service call fee for additional trip which you refused.  We do not work for free.  There are no issues with out installation or the new pool heater which is under a FULL 3 year warranty.   "My wife wrote a negative review because this company installed a pool heater aprox 3-4 weeks ago and it does not work to heat the pool."   Your review is defamatory, false, and disconcerting I will be happy to address line by line your concerns.  We have provided the solution to your problem, ADJUST YOUR POOL PUMP SPEED IN POOL MODE, we have emailed a link to turn the variable speed pump up yourself, offered to come out for a service call fee Which you refused.   "We asked for help and was told to have our pool guy fix it.

I will be writing the BBB today and I will be handing this over to my Atty as well."   We have explained your variable speed pump which is set to go to 3450 rpm in spa mode per automation settings you need to adjust the speed of your pool pump in pool mode or it will not have adequate water flow and display LO service.  We have also provided the option to come back for a service call since your issue is not related to our installation and separate.   "Please remember I asked them multiple times to fix as the pool heater had never been tested at time of install, it has only worked heating the jacuzzi."    

We provided instructions ad naseum on the issue which has nothing to do with us or our installation.  We cant help stupid people!   It is shocking to me a business owner treats people this way and stays in business??
  Tens of thousands of SATISFIED customers 5-700 5 star reviews online in aggregate, it's only aholes who don't listen, don't take responsibility who malign us online when they don't get their way!     We chose to reserve our right to refuse service when Tina Mijin Shin's/ John Foster Farley's email insinuating she will be providing negative feedback online if we don't capitulate and offer free services.  We don't do business under duress, extortion is illegal, we did nothing wrong.  Our installation agreement was to remove their existing pool heater and install a new one, it's not an insurance policy to cover unrelated issues or items, user error, incompetence, inability to follow simple instructions. 
  John Foster Farley, since the initial posting of your review to injure our online reputation we've netted an increase in calls, comments and 5 star reviews so we have no damages to sue you.  Several customers have commented they knew our reviews were authentic and they read the reviews from "a couple of jerks".  A+ rating with BBB and over 20,000 satisfied clients in 24 years    GFYS
