The owner is degrading, demeaning, insulting, abusive, and harassing towards female customers.
Joseph Hoell would not provide me with an email outlining policy coverages, discounts, limitations, or yearly out-of-pocket costs for auto and home. He told me the price would increase if I didn't purchase my policy as he rambled off what was in it, via phone that minute. He told me I had to have 1k deductibles, which I don't want. He sent me rambling bullying emails lecturing me on my policies and denying me rights as a consumer to make an informed decision on what best meets my needs. I called ten different agencies to compare rates, which is my right as a consumer. I chose to go with another agency; not with the Joseph Hoell agency. This decision is not illegal. In no way, shape, or form did I do anything he alleges other than ask insightful and warranted questions about what product he was offering? More women should do this. He is upset that he was not able to get a sale and that I can make my own informed decisions. I asked him to refrain from contacting me or I would need to involve law enforcement. He then retaliated by calling them instead. Once the officer saw this agent's emails, he realized it was the agent harassing me. When I asked Joseph Hoell to include cost and further information his condescending response was he could highlight his email in yellow and green. Yet, I still did not get an answer to what I was asking. As an adult woman, I will not be spoken to that way.  I was told by the officer he informed Joseph Hoell to stop harassing me.  I am familiar with policy outlines. One of the things my members tell me is they are often pushed into policies by agents like this, without understanding coverage. That will not be me. I asked to read over everything before handing over my money. I do not need to explain myself to this agent or anyone. Go back and read other one-star reviews on Google or here. A similar story exists on both Google and BBB by another woman. You will see he treats other women this way, not just myself. I have dealt with men like him before, and I will not be threatened, bullied, or defamed. It is my right as a consumer and customer to file a complaint against this agent and agency. He can threaten me with as many lawsuits and citations as he likes, but as the customer I have every right to be treated with respect. There was nothing erratic about my behavior other than setting boundaries and asking questions. I had one brief phone interaction with this agent, and I wrote a few sentences in an email, none of which was inappropriate. I have several witnesses to Joseph Hoell's behavior including my lender, agent, family, and friends. I also have the defamation statements he has made online about me which will be forwarded to the appropriate agencies. If anyone is seeking insurance needs do not go to this agent or agency. This man does not deserve my money or any business. You can read my review on Google as well. I am shocked by everything I have had to deal with regarding this unprofessional toad. He is unethical, dishonest, coercive, incompetent, and untrustworthy.
