I purchased solar panels back in February 2015 through verengosolar (Finance through Kilowatt PPA) they showed up at my home.I am just going to say the solar panels they gave me didn't help and instead ny bills went up from 2300 to 3200 because I had to pay the bill to 2 companies instead of 1. But then I requested the buy out option in March 2020, since that has been 5 years. and sent several emails, phone calls and letters and they ignored me.
Finally I had to file a complaint with Office of the Comptroller of the Currency Customer Assistance Group 1301 McKinney Street, Suite 3450 Houston TX 77010 and CFPB Federal Trade Commission which is what finally got me an answer. If you are having issues and can't get any answers with this company file a complaint you can do it online. https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/

This is just additional information. I finally got a response to my issues and pay off after 10 months. I had to file a complaint with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (consumerfinance.gov)
I recommend that if you are having an issue you do the same. They were the only ones able to get them to respond and actual follow their own contract. I had to pay 9K to be removed from the PPA agreement to be able to own my panels so that its no longer hanging over my home.
The company that actually ended up responded for kilowatt was energyserviceexperts.com they apparently bought out kilowatt

please advise were we can contact you for this. I had to file a complaint with the office of the controller of currency after 10 months of them ignoring me for the buy out option. Now they agreed to an amount but I am trying to pay it and they started ignoring me again and have sent me nothing to show the amount we agreed on or how to pay it, since for some reason everytime i pay the bill it doesnt get credited to my account. so yes if you suing I would like in.
