For 3 years on and off I have been trying to get proper care and diagnosis at meharry. I was told this place was the only one that my insurance covered so I had no choice but to go here . From expereince I will tell you this place is useless!!!!

First you cannot get care with an american.... red flag #1. They are all interns its impossible to get any real pcp here. They do not have any doctors available they have to send you somewhere else but they make you see them first. I was blown off and lied to many times. The last time I had to go here was 3 weeks ago I needed a specialist and they said I have to get an app with them first so I did..3 weeks ago..The foreign woman called herself a doctor and told me she would call insurance to get me a referral to see specialist. They lied.

I called twice since my app to see if they have done called yet they lied to me and said they called and are waiting for insurance to get back. Thats not true because I called insurance and they have never got any call from them! This is typical service here... Iv dealt with it many times..and I really need a to see someone. I cannot see a specialist without a referral from meharry and meharry wont do their job they could care less because they get paid less when you have free insurance. 

This is just the last time I had an app here...they never care they are incompetent and completely unproffessional. I few times I have called them who ever answers the phone doesnt speak good english and was very rude made punk remarks...that is not how you do business and how you treat customers. How are they still in business? I have noticed through the years that most of the patients are mexican or black. Im usually the only white american in there. They are rude and blow me off...that is not hard to figure out. Iv never been took seriously. They tried to put me on medicines that have nothing to do with my problem. 

ILLEGAL PRACTICES--Aslo I went to get a pap smear there once. I am a young white female and I requested to have a woman do the test. Instead I had 3 foreign men do the pap smear and Im pretty sure that is illegal. They were rough and hurt me during the exam....I do not think they had a license to as a gyno and should have filed a complaint when that happened. So they are doing illegal things as well.

If you have them on your insurance card you have to switch your pcp NOW! Do not go here. Do not support this non american facility. Do not waste your time and allow these careless people to get paid for doing absolutely nothing but cause you stress. They are not real doctors they are not caring people. The shouldnt be in this line of work. They should be investigated and out of business.
