In 2013, we joined MeWe as a social media alternative to Facebook which had been censoring independent media news organizations, journalists, photographers, etc via bans, suspensions, and deletion of content they deem which violates their Terms of Service (TOS).

Although MeWe does not specifically advertise Free Speech as much as it touts Privacy and Right to own data, Mark Weinstein (founder of MeWe) does mention (that however many sources question his guidance and knowledge https://www.reddit.com/r/rant/comments/atmefk/mewethenextgensocialnetworksucksbecauseits/).

Since 2013, we have had great experiences on MeWe, encountering virtually no censorship and many like-minded audiences up until 2018.

We collaborated with a few of MeWe’s staff to help organize our data and manage our groups in 2018 as the socio political climate changed drastically and our investigations focused on specific areas of domestic terrorism and corruption.

We created several groups to help organize our evidence on terrorism and other crimes to our audience after much of our content had been censored/deleted on Facebook and other mainstream social media platforms.

In late 2019, MeWe had been hit by an influx of porn and other sexual content spammers, and our groups were not immune.

We relined of MeWe’s staff and other volunteer members to combat this, but with over 10,000 members to sift through and thousands of posts each day, the task was difficult and affected our reputation.

MeWe did adopt (uncertain of exact timing) a no-porn policy to help combat this, which did not seem to have much an affect. We began to notice some of our content and groups disappearing and launched an investigation.

We had learned that around 2019, tMeWe’s administration had changed and there are new staff involved. What had happened were new staff and administration (both employed by MeWe and volunteer members) were sneaking in scammers and criminals to create duplicate copies of many groups and phishing new unsuspecting members to join and subsequently “dox” them.

The corrupt staff and administration were identified to be mostly leftists/ANTIFA in ideology, many of the groups that were affected focused on news and evidence on violent crimes including; rioting, arson, and attempted murder, had disappeared.

Investigations revealed corrupt staffers and administration renaming certain such groups and then creating duplicate copies of them. The evidence that was obtained by our investigators (see attached photos below) revealed that corrupt staffers had been hiding the real groups and advertising fake duplicates with the same title but noticeably different URLs by changing the spelling slightly (hoping that most users will focus on the title of content and groups, and not the URLs).

Once the offenders were identified and banned, we attempted to appoint new admins to restore and clean up the groups. However the banned suspects began posing as “officials” and creating (or collaborating) with hundreds of other individuals to create a “army” of of fake profiles to spread false information and false reports to cover up their acts. They have made many elaborate claims and accusations to explain the disappearance of the evidence, however what sets us apart from them is that each and every bit of our content IS evidence and proof of their acts while they have provided no evidence.

Further, there have also been rumors from the suspects that there was an official(?) meeting between media officials and the president regarding this matter, however no such meeting ever took place. Their efforts and goals appeared to focus on suppression of images, videos, of violent crimes committed by ANTIFA in 2020, that our investigators had collected. All of the above mentioned evidence is archived off site, so they were not permanently lost, however MeWe’s new administration and member base is now mostly infested with leftists / ANTIFA and others who wanted to suppress news and evidence about them. It’s basically Facebook all over again.

We had many paid memberships and content deleted spanning many years and will be filing claims on for reimbursement. We do understand and respect that MeWe has the right to make up any policy they want and any social media platform has the right to censor anyone for any reason, however suppression of evidence and aiding criminals may be questionable in legality and claiming to support privacy and free speech while ones actions go against it is deceitful.
