I first purchased a transmission from them in 2016, it was awesome. When I needed to replace it I had no issues with buying another from them. The second one was nothing but problems, I had to remove it and send it back two times and it still was not correct. We decided to send in my original transmission for a rebuild since we knew it was good for 3 years and still worked good I just wanted to freshen it up. So I sent it to them and it came back and I installed it, now even it has issues that it did not have when it was removed like it barely slides into second gear, I asked Ivan what he thought it could be and he was really clueless.
I feel Ivan is a good guy but perhaps this company has lost something over the past few years such as what they always told me "if its not right and if your not satisfied we will fix it until it is". The worst part is they did not refund my core charge they owed me and they punted on finding a resolution to my concerns.
Now Im stuck with a transmission that I have to take back to my local transmission shop and pay again to have it fixed right. What a mess.

I took the transmission to my local shop, and they showed me the parts that were broken that Patriot put in my rebuild, they are as follows.
Broken drum so no 2nd gear or 4th because the broken drum they put in from their scrap pile was seized up and took out the band immediatley.Also the sprag was bad,and they had the wrong servo pin in it as well. It had a trans leak I could not find and the shop found that the brand new $480.00 high stall converter they sold me had a pin hole in it at the weld. So here is the total that they charged me for garbage.
Torque converter $480.00
Cost to rebuild $1,200.00
fluids/ labor /etc $350.00
Total paid to them for garbage $2,030.00
Now for repairing their scrap tranny and converter.
High stall converter $300.00
Labor $1,050.00
Parts/fluid etc. $375.00
Total $1,725.00
All together spent to get a good transmission because of Patriots scrap used parts $3,755.00.
PATRIOT TRANSMISSION IS A RIP OFF.
